湯鎮業飾演的小海曾經是一名銀行劫匪，搶錢逃跑過程中失手錢袋落入大海。小海良心未泯，準備洗手不幹，他大哥卻逼他再做一次，雙方發生口角，激戰中小海打傷大哥，大哥記恨小海，又懷疑小海私自吞併財產，誓要報仇。小海逃到一個偏僻的小山莊避風頭等待時機去菲律賓，山莊莊主和其莊人阿威對性格內向的小海有偏見，百般言語譏諷，後莊主女兒小咪海外歸來結識小海，二人漸生情愫，小海大哥最後通過阿威找到小海藏身之處，小海亦想與其大哥化解恩怨 大哥假意和解，小海中計。雙方交戰中 小海與其大哥雙雙從高空墜落，同歸於盡。小咪得知後，含淚離開了傷心地。
