I’ve never seen summers in Ireland any other way. If we’re lucky, we might get a long warm hot summer once every 10 years, just like we might get one big fall of snow once every 10 to 20 years. Almost every summer I’ve seen, it has rained. Fair play lad. At least someone else has common sense.
I went to watch the Sun rise two days ago. It was 5C at 5am. I was perished because I didn't put on a warm coat. I thought that with global warming and all I'd be fine!
Good on ya Jimmy it's all a con job this is a natural the world is going through this and theirs absolutely nothing we do, when we had covid no planes in the skies no cars on the roads did it make any difference not a bit. Just look at the wicklow mountains or any for that matter how did they get there the ice age so there you have it.
Summer does not start for another week. According to the most recent global climate report Ireland has average temperatures that were "much above average" in May.
@@drkstrongdoesn't matter if they're the hottest months. The official start of spring is march equinox, which would make 21st of may the start of summer. Also the solstice was traditionally called mid summer. In ancient ways of thinking there was only summer and winter, (what we call spring and autumn being the traditionary periods between summer and winter) so mid summer is the mid point between the equinoxes, aka the solstices. But by all metrics of when it's summer, your are incorrect that it starts on the solstice. Summer isn't determined by heat but on day length. The longest day of the year being mid summer
It sounds like a fake Irish accent or at least one that is a parody. The reason why you are getting so much rain is precisely because global temperatures are rising. More warming, particularly of the oceans (looked at Atlantic sea-surface temperatures recently?), cause more evaporation. That coupled with warmer air can carry more moisture produces more rain.

So let's get this right....if it stopped raining and started to warm up this summer, that would mean it was Global cooling? You are indeed a true believer.
I can remember 30 odd years ago on the news saying about global warming "In 30 years the UK will be like the south of France". I did miss something.
Yeh it is, they are both full of people from elsewhere!
Haha, yes open borders is the price we must pay for ruining their climate. 😢
In 1974 it was the norm to be expecting the new ice age! Even the BBC ran with it? We all missed that too!

We've had the same heatwave conditions here in the UK.
Yeah Jimmy keep up the good work and videos mate Vinnie from Dublin city

Geo Engineering.
Yes, RTE even tried to blame the flooding in Dubai on climate change, but even they had to back away from that opportunistic rewriting of reality
We had 2C a couple of weeks back, very cold mornings in June.
very cold summer so far

@@drkstrong so summer starts around the time if the summer solstice ......???????
@@georgedoorley5628 Yes, exactly. Summer this year (it changes) is 20 June to 22 September - encompassing the two hottest months: July and August.
Indeed it is I had put on the house heat for 2hrs the other night

The rise of stupidty is obviously not confined to england.😃
he forget to mention its a dry type of rain , you don't get wet as much
There’s a warning ⛔️ on you video lol 😂😂😂😂❤
Global, warming nonsense,Scotland has had the exact same weather for as long as I can remember of the last 60 years 🏴

They're making all the weather antennas dry for the Ukraine tanks and we must get the rain instead.
I’ll bet he’s never read a paper on climate change in his life or, failing that, never read a reputable science journalist on climate change.
