Hector is one of my favourite characters. This series is amazing with all these battles at the beginning. Looking forward to the next episode. Keep up the good work.
Speaking of Lord of the Rings, Sean Bean (Boromir) was in Troy also along with Orlando Bloom (Legolas). And as for Sean Bean, he plays the role of Odysseus, making it one of the few roles where he doesn't get whacked
Sean Bean also was in Game of Thrones season 1 in the main rol of Ned Stark (my favorite character) a long with the Nightwatch commander played by the actor, I can remember his names, who played Glaucos in the 2004 movie.
27:23 when some of the spearmens die LOL they just hop forward. I'll have to admit they need more death animations than the same one when killed by archers/slingers

Trojan slingers: eat my stones Odysseys: ha i laugh at your stones heres a good old shaft It is interesting to see the different play styles based on the leaders and how they work, I'm glad that the leaders aren't o.p to hell like many figured they would and the mythical units are cool a nice touch to change it up
I always wondered what the real Trojan war was for. I mean, Helen of Troy could just be a character made by Homer to romanticize his story since he was not a historian like Herodotus. I also wonder sometime if this war was THE single reason for everything that happened in the Mediterranean afterwards - founding of Rome, the Greco-Persian wars, the Peloponnesian War. Man, I wish I could see that time line fully with my own eyes.
In reality it was either for plunder (troy was a strategically rich and valuable city) or through desperate migration. As the trojan war happened around the time of the bronze age collapse and invasion on the sea people
Any unit that can switch and put the shield on their back will do a lot more damage in melee combat. It increases melee damage, attack rating and increases speed at the cost of defense (but overall they do better in melee combat). Having the shield on their back helps to protect them from missile damage from the rear if you do use them to flank. A tip for playing Trojans is you can get a lot of free stone/wood/food from you're allies every 5-10 turns especially if they have a large stockpile of that resource.
I also start to taking interest of Troy total war saga, due to its mechanism also differs that of other total war game. Like the economy and the tactics are widened to a new extend.
damn you pushed that army to its breaking point lol. Anyway nice work, I guess this Hector's campaign is defense through offense! btw would love to see you take full control the island of Lesbos
