Thank you so much! I replaced my printer with the exact same one but couldn’t get it to connect wirelessly to my tablet. I followed your instructions and it worked perfectly!!
I found that in my case I had to uninstall the Canon Print app first and then reinstall it. That was the only change that I needed to do from your instructions!

Thank you, after trying for 3 hours to connect my printer to the internet and then to my smartphone, I finally managed to do it, I had to Uninstall the canon app and then Reinstall it so it would ask the relevant questions at the right time, I'm now trying to calm down from the stress of getting there!!!! 😩

Hi mate I have just bought this and it's a pain in the arse to connect to my virgin media WiFi I have done all the steps from the manual press wireless button then pres and hold WPS on my router and let go after a while and it just keeps showing E.

@ZE B K TRY TO USE YOUR MOBILE PHONE TO CONNECT IT VIA CANON PRINT INJECT/SELF APP ON PLAY STORE. YOU NEED TO SEARCH AND ADD YOU PRINTER VIA THE APP, IT WILL ASK YOUR VIRGIN MEDIA WIFI PASSWORD TO CONNECT. AND IT WILL SHOW YOU IF IT IS CONNECTED ON YOUR MOBILE LET ME KNOW HOW YOU GET ON
@@Vinneltv you are a superstar I downloaded the app and after opening the app it automatically connected to my WiFi asked my password then wala- thankyou your instructions were much better than the crappy manual.
So anyone reading this and need to connect this printer to your laptop firstly connect it to your phone via the app then everything goes good from then on (I hope)😀😃😄

Could someone help me, please? I have been following the instructions and watched that another video on how to connect the printer to wif but still don't connect it. I click on the turn on button and the button and the one with the image above letter B shines. The display shows 0, 4 and E. when clicking on the network button nothing happens and nothing happens when I click on any button. I downloaded the set-up from the website and when installing it and the software searches the printer, it can't find it. I don't understand what is happening and how anything works. I have tried to instal the printer and connect it to the WiFi for days. Thank you for the help!

Can I use a single cartridge printer?
You need to have the two ink cartridges inside the printer to be able to print
is there more than 1 connection at back, my machine wont switch on?
Just USB cable port at the back, the switch is the first on the top
@@Vinneltv thanks a heap. Can't switch on, I have a 2 hole plug for the back. I tried it to USB & another to an electric socket. Do you think I should reinstall s/ware?
@@swissworldwatches You need to connect the power cable at the back and then plug it into the electric socket, if you are connecting the printer to the computer you can use a USB Cable if you have connect one end to the computer and the other end to the printer then you need to download the software and driver to the computer, you can do this from Canon website go to support type you printer name and model the you will see full driver and software .

This is a really good printer ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 . The reason I gave 4 stars for tech support (which I don't think this would classify as tech support) is because once you turn the printer on, it does require a little bit of start up time which may bother some who are in a hurry to quickly print something. To offset that though the printer prints very quickly. I would definitely purchase this printer again.

@Subhan Dawran which printer is it ? Most of the modern printers will tell you from the spec if you can connect this to Wifi or not . Hope this help and let us know

Where did you get the chip (that you found password) from. I can’t find password

I think my printer is bad or something. I have watched this video a million times and others too but to no avail

@@Vinneltv oh thank you for replying that's so nice and kind of you. It's the same make but apparently I have to install or setup the printer with a CD first then I'll be able to connect it to my WiFi or phone.
You can connect your printer to WiFi by downloading the Canon/injectselphy app on Google play store then search and add available printer then put the password for your WiFi to connect
Second option is to connect the printer with USB cable and download software from CD rom Once you download the software you will have option to connect with WiFi or USB cable
Third option is to connect your printer to your mobile device using on the go (OTG) cable then download printershare app inside the app it will show you the available print then connect this together using your mobile Data to be able to print from mobile phone
@@Vinneltv I have tried the first way. My computer doesn't have a CD ROM portal so I'll get one of these CD portals and connect it to my laptop somehow.

@@Vinneltv I was able to fix it, I got an error code "E04" because I hadn't installed the cartridges correctly.
