Great stuff. I was playing with the update today. It’s excellent. I was thinking of just using it with channel strips but now after watching this I think that using it for drum compressors or reverbs is a great idea. The thing I’m not going to do is use this for everything because it’ll get messy real quick but I’m off to make a template now. I think the uf8 changes need to be highlighted more. Being able the map the automation and plugins number buttons is fantastic.

Thanks for your comment, using link for parallel mixing is what makes me the most exited about it. I am working on a follow up video explaining my work flow and uses for the whole SSL ecosystem for producing and mixing and i'll be covering the UF8 update there. hope it gives you more ideas once is released!!!

Does delay compensation still work for the hosted plugin within the Link plugin?

haven't seen any form of latency or poor response from my use of Link, pretty much solid and stable. I'm working on a follow up video now that the issue mentioned on Luna has been fixed, I will explain my actual use of this setup on a more demanding environment and will cover some of those aspects on a more detailed way.

The issue for me at the moment is that it creates a new channel in console each time

One plugin per link instance. You can have as many link instances as you want even on the same track.
