I had to stop 4 minutes in to THANK YOU. Thank you for addressing the attack on the Capital and really the attack on U.S. democracy. I feel so many of us have been so ingrained to stay surface level and not discuss politics. But more people have to start saying something. What happened Wednesday was horrific, regardless where your politics are. Thank you Emily.

The entire "beach body" concept was always confusing to me because if I wanted to look good I would want to look good at ALL TIMES, not only when other people are going to see my body.

I am on board with the OP beach body/swimsuit comment, but also exercising is about the right healthy balance for each individual body. Picking up kids all day and trying to match their physicality is no joke. Neither is the general labor of day to day. I miss being able to work out more freely since I developed spinal arthritis. I'd be excited just to not feel broken down from standing too long. 😁 Little bits of effort make healthier habits and a happier soul in the long run. Keep it up with whatever motivates you. 💓

Dear Emily, thank you for mentioning what happened at the Capitol on Wednesday. You are the first UA-camr that I follow that have said anything and I'm grateful that you have. We all live in the real life and what happened that day is tragic. I hope we remember this day forever and could all learn from it. May we all have a better tomorrow.
I was quite disappointed. For one those were adults charging in there acting like children whose frontal cortex have not yet developed. And second how proud they looked in the picture was also baffling.
I’m glad you talked about what happened at the capital building. It is embarrassing. I know other countries think of our news as a fun soap opera story. Not so fun when you have to live in this country. Two people arrested lived right down the street from me. Gets me wondering what other unstable people live near me. Also, hello, pandemic! In the pics of them they were not wearing masks.
Extremists live all around us no matter what State you are in. Some people just carry their thoughts and actions too far. We need to “listen” more to these type of extremists and back far far away.
Would you say through and through that our government is taking proper care of its citizens? I HIGHLY doubt you could say yes to that. Our government is failing us and as Americans we need to be able to make a stand and get rid of (yes I mean physically remove them, hence why It was written into our Declaration of Independence) those in office who are more worried about everyone else than their own starving and struggling Americans. This was not an embarrassment, it was a massive wake up call that we are disposable, that our government would rather kill citizens than have our officials removed from office. Our government is the embarrassment.
So it wasn't embarrassing when BLM and Antifa were burning and looting homes and businesses?

Would you be willing to try brands that people don’t seem to review a lot like Kiko Milano or Haley’s beauty? I feel like there are things that are probably good in those lines, but with how youtube can be you mostly hear about the same things over and over :)
Yess! I'm intrigued by Haley's beauty too, but there are not enough reviews!
Kiko has a tendency to release mostly limited edition products so it's hard for youtubers to review them and recommend them when entire lines come and go so fast. Although I have heaed great things about their stuff.
Kiko Milano is definitely an interest for me!

Another video idea, Ace Beaute is a good Black owned brand. I’ve got a few of their eye shadow pallets and they are awesome. Might be a brand you would like to tryout.
The L’Oréal foundation is definitely my most used foundation. It stays under a mask at work and looks great on the skin. I love it!! It’s sweat proof. I actually really like that Covergirl powder too. It’s pretty good.

She did not even speak out about the violence or behavior of law enforcement as she did here. The ones who did faced backlash and loss of subscribers. Emily did no such thing but keep playing with makeup like nothing was happening. The fact that she would speak out about this now makes her silence before DEAFENING.
I looooove that concealer!!! It's my favorite from the drugstore. Go in very lightly with it and it's beautiful.
My resolution was to actually do a project pan on a palette a month. Not to fully use it up but to make progress in it. So far, I've stuck with it and really enjoy it.
Believe Beauty has such a nice cream blush too...I use it so often.

When I use pencil/retractable eyeliner, I like to use the Essence Precise Eyeliner Brush ($2.99 at Ulta) along with it and it makes it so much more precise so you don't have to fight that resistance. :) The brush it tiny enough to massage over the liner then just simply apply.
Especially for an at home work out, I highly recommend Daily Burn. It’s $15 a month, and has a ton of variety. There’s a new workout everyday, plus there are numerous programs, including 10 and 20 minute workouts. Those short workouts are better than nothing and can be pretty intense. I’ve definitely seen the results.

For New Years/All Year Resolutions’, been doing my HIIT workouts on Zoom (5 times a week) this week and have been doing that for months. I am so proud and grateful that my body has allowed me to do all these exercises and what a great mental break from all the stress! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Hi Emily it is a struggle to get motivated to do a work out as here in the UK were going into total lockdown again but I had a word with myself as you do and thought it's an ideal time for it as we can come out the other end ready for hopefully better time's. I still use and love the L’Oréal Fresh Wear Foundation.
Oh my gosh Emily! Do one of Maddie’s workouts from Madfit here on UA-cam. She has 10 to 30 minute workouts and even some shorter quick dance workouts. One of my resolutions is to do her workouts at least five days a week. They are awesome workouts!

As a French citizen, I know what it is like to feel let down by my country's politics, regardless of what "side" the power is held by... so I feel for my American friends who are going through this insanity! I wish there was a makeup planet to escape to Emily! I’m a nurse and I have come to the conclusion that trying to look pretty for going to work is a complete waste of time and money. Face is covered with masks and eye protection.No resolutions for this year, just trying to focus on skin care. I’m actually excited about my resolutions this year. I’ve been recovering from a broken foot and surgery since October. Just got clearance from the doctor to start walking for 20 minutes a day. Can’t wait to get moving (and out of the house 😆)

I also love that mascara, but it smudges on me like crazy.
when you burn your teeth gum, take a piece of fresh coconut meat in mouth and crush sqeeze its juice , swirl all over mouth and allow juice the burnt/injured area. or even a tea spoon of coconut oil into mouth swirl as above. you can swallow or spit at your option. It heals naturally.
Im determined to not buy anymore makeup this year. The way my stash is set up I might need to buy 1 brow pencil this year & a mascara but I have too much. So shop my stash videos are very welcome! I also love GRWM videos because I enjoy listening to you talk about life, thoughts, & products.
Emily leave your little tree lit...my tree is still up....I'll take it down next weekend.. I agree with you...I will be leaving out my snowmen...snowflakes...my signs let it snow and lighted garland....we have to have something warm, inviting to brighten up the dead of winter ...
