I was diagnosed with MS at the end of February 2024 and I just relate to your vlogs so much! I just had a three day steroid drip from an acute relapse. Still awaiting treatment and had no idea how I was going to get through it or if anyone around me would ever understand. You are just such a wonderful inspiration, you give me hope. And I hope that we can both fight together and agree to never give up on ourselves! We are not our diseases!! 💪💕✨

Thank you! This has helped me quite a bit. I go in for radioactive iodine in a couple of days and I've been stressing about it. Your video put me at ease a little bit. 💕

I did RAI in August last year. Had good uptake and everything was going as expected. Just had a clear scan BUT there are still cancer markers present in my blood! I just found out today and I am so mad. My GP told me this and could not tell me what would happen next. I am waiting to see the endocrinologist in mid May. 2.5 weeks of agonising wait to see if this means I have to do RAI again. :( I really don’t want to deal with the thyroid cancer anymore. I have other suspicious tumours and enlarged lymph nodes throughout my body, which could mean a second cancer or some weird deadly autoimmune disease. I am very sick atm and I have a lot of surgeries lined up (e.g. hysterectomy, as I have adenomyosis and endometriosis and I am needing iron infusions now) but they don’t want to do surgery until I am in remission. I cannot wait any longer for these surgeries to improve my quality of life. The thyroid cancer has gotten in the way and still is, one year on. I hope it works out better for you though, but you will be fine either way!

This is a really big, nuanced question, but I'm really curious... If I were to be working and had health insurance through my place of work ( USA, of course, :/ ), and then were diagnosed with cancer and could no longer work for a certain period of time and therefore lost my health insurance, is there a good secondary healthcare plan that I could purchase now to help me during that time of unemployment? I realize there is a lot to that question, but any advice would be much appreciated. Either way, thank you so much for posting and I'm glad you are doing well and I hope that things continue to progress positively for you!

Don’t know if you got your answer, but you suck on sour candy post RAI because it affects the salivary glands and can give you dry mouth.. hope that helps

thank you for sharing❤ I am having RAI in a few days (recurrent TC after 8 years, did not have RAI after my first surgery) wonder if you have any side effects from RAI that last a few months or still effect you today. What dose did you get 💪🏼🫶
