I have this one, it is really can help to make precise wheels, but all work I do on primary stand. Pluses of Superb stand are: price, pretty much weight, impression of something very technological. Minuses are: not enough stiffness of the frame, the end of gauge is sharp instead of wide lined to easy control radial spoke tension, it can't be the only stand in workshop (it can be used only to check or tune a wheel after main stand).
yes we do need to either increase or release the spoke tension while wheel truing but in this video is mainly to show how we use the wheel truing stand and fix the wheel to round shape. For spoke tension part, we will discuss in other videos.Thank you for asking.
@@sztigirigi Or you just need a little knowledge. Any stand can dish a wheel. One need only flip wheel 180 degrees, to be able to remove a deviance from center (front or rear).

Do you only increase the tension of the spokes or sometime release? I do not see that you measure the tention.

I am interested in that too. How can I find the center of the rim?
Only using dishing tool like wag-4
Are you talking dishing?
You need a dishing tool.
@@rickdoehler502 you don't need a dishing tool. You just need a trying stand with that feature. I have one so it definitely exist.
