I was first iffy about the idea of the turrets but omg, I tested and they are absolutely epic 😍🔥 it's a good balance between defenses and attacking, fighting against it.
I don't know if the devs did this on purpose, but I think they forgot to give the turrets an armor value, that's the reason why normal firearms do so much damage to the turrets. So you're not currently firing at lightly armored metal turrets but rather at naked puppets with 10,000 HP. If the turrets stay as they are for now, then they're not really that good... I can just kill the turrets from a distance with a hunting rifle or if I really have to, probably even with a bow, not to mention that an EMP grenade can take them out completely...
The balance is the choice you make with them, I advise 2 rocket launcher turrets and 1 Mini gun because the rocket launcher has the biggest LOS cone and has the top range and damage output. The Minigun is just for making sure whoevers touching your base, is fearful.
Good video Feuds i am very interested to see if EMP grenades take out the turrets power. Also if they are mounted on a building what is their maximum angle of depression
@Ayns.L14A no 50cal, I wanted to aim for the most used calibres in the game. Not everyone has access to a 50 cal, so showing people even a 9mm can damage these and frags is a good thing.
@@MrFeudal thats cool mate, I was just thinking if I was gonna go up against a base with turrets, I'd use a 50 cal simply for the damage and range advantage......
@@Ayns.L14A And thats fine, but we all know the 50cal is an armour pen weapon, but for most people on this game, carrying a 50 around isn't something people do, as I said I was aiming for weapons/ammo that you might have one or many of, 50 is in that caetgory but not viable to be hauling about, especially with the movement mechanics.
So basically there pointless , so 2 1/2 drums of Ak ammo from a distance out side there range . And you take one out . That’s nothing to kill one ….its way to easy to raid that’s the man damn problem people build there base for weeks to lose it in 45 mins . They are cool but pointless against raid lame . Great video tho

Mac 11 mag spawned in with 32 rounds the rest of the 9mm spawned in was 30 rounds, excellent video!

I all so used the AT4 Rocket launcher in DESERT STORM 1991 hit 4 T-72 tanks of the Iraqi Republican Guard, a lot different in video games...
Attacking the generator would make more sense because the turret is useless without power. Just my observation.
Now can you shoot the turrets with your gun out of range of the turrets. That would be a huge disadvantage of turrets.
Well yes, it would be a little stupid if they had an infinite range wouldn't it?
You gonna have to place the turrets like they do in Rust. Too easy to destroy

Refer to the Video before this one for EMP effects. EMP grenades have effect on both Gens and Turrets.

Looks like they are made of paper. Too easy to destroy, or dissable with emp, and they eat ammo soo fast. So in pvp servers they are pretty pointless.
