I really love this idea. I have smokers in my family and did something similar to this using terra cotta pots, sifter and sand. My Auntie loved it so much, I gifted it to her. I will make another and send pictures of both.

I'm in love with my recreation of yours! I agree with a lot of other comments on here though, that the rectangle throws me off! So I did one with a square 12 x 12 frame (to even it out, if anybody knows of a circle frame somewhere let me know lol) and I made another for a friend out of those rectangle bins. I had to use four to make it similar in height. Also, they're really really easy to knock over because the bottom is small, so I painted a pizza pan the same color and glued to the bottom floor stability (: thank you for sharing wonderful crafts and ideas!!

Very creative! BEST side table that I've seen from dollar tree products yet... I'd find a way to do a round top, but that's just personal preferance! I think the rectangle top looks out of place... And, in case people don't know, they can get the jute at Dollar tree also, but Walmart and Amazon have better deals.

That's very cute! I would add substantial weight into the bottom bucket so it doesn't fall over.
I like the general idea, but i think that glass is way to thin and a possible danger. It will need a thicker round glass top, but great idea. Love it.
This is not safety glass, so not a good thing with children in the house.
You can very easily substitute plexiglass for safety
You could purchase 2 frames and double the glass. Use the E600 to stick them together.

This is by far the best side table that I have seen so far, and I have watched countless videos and this one is one I will do. It will make a great outdoor table as well as a great gift for anyone who loves to have the look of real plants all year long. The top can be made more child or pet friendly by using plexiglas for anyone who might be concerned but I love the glass for myself. Thank you so much for inspiring me yet again.
