A COMPACT Leaf Blower That PACKS A PUNCH! BillyGoat P2000 Stand On Leaf Blower Demo

  • Today Rob and I are taking out the BillyGoal P2000 stand on leaf blower for its maiden voyage and seeing how it performs with a quick leaf cleanup at one of our HOA's.
    This P2000 BillyGoat leaf blower is the in between unit from their popular walk behind units, to their full throttle Z3000 and X3000 stand on leaf blowers. This unit runs in the $8,000 range, pushes over 3,500 CFM and clocks in at around 150mph when it's blowing leaves, how cool is that.
    This could be a great in between unit for those of you guys who want something a little more powerful than a walk behind, but maybe not as expensive as a dedicated unit as the popular X3000 and Z3000 units.
    Thanks again to BillyGoat for partnering with us (sponsored video) to share this new leaf blower with you guys. Have you guys purchased one of BillyGoat's stand on leaf blowers? What do you guys think of this mechanical budget friendly P2000? Let us know in the comments down below!

    I just bought the Z3000 about two weeks ago! Totally game changer. What use to take me 2 hours of blowing leaves now takes me 20 mins. That machine will clean up things good it will blow sticks and logs. If your thinking of getting one I highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed at all!

    Holy crap. I’ve got like 40 trees in my yard plus surround by a Forrest. Thanksgiving week every year I spend a couple of hours mowing, blowing, and raking leaves. Wish that machine didn’t cost so much. I’d only need it 10 minutes a year. Lol. Too much fun right there.

    I love my Scag Windstorm but I could see that machine being very useful if trailer space and gates are an issue. Once you get comfortable on the machine you’ll be wearing a back pack blower and running the controls one handed so you can get the hard to reach areas. Might want to try and air the tires down to get more tread contacting the ground for better traction.

    • @firstname6208
      @firstname6208 2 роки тому

      Byron, i bought one of these, the tires are just too big for the rims. I purchased another set of tires (same size) the tread was 1"narrower and they fit like a glove. It wouldn't go up the ramp into my box truck, now no issues. Sent a message to ferris, they are looking into it.

    The go-pro has been a game changer for my videos. Imagine doing video with your full frame camera on a DJI gimbal and you get a go-pro! The media mod sucks, I tossed mine. Also, machine mounting is still too bumpy to make quality video so I hat clip mount mine now and it’s beautiful footage. And it’s waterproof for those videos in the rain. Did I mention the gimbal is sick? When I first got into go-pro I was very annoyed by it till I figured I’d quit complaining and just become an expert at using it. Now I’m a big time believer it’s my one camera to rule them all.

    Pretty impressive output. Yeah, I'm with you, first thing I noticed was how far the muffler sticks out. Even though its got a protective cage around it but still. And the blower itself runs full time I think? There's no clutch to engage/disengage the impeller for when you are transporting the unit under its own power? They probably did that for price points. Looking forward to seeing more video of it in action during the thick of leaf season.

    I have the fb3000 since last year and just added the windstorm to the line up this year, id say save up a little more and get the biggest one, 8k is a lot of money for a 18hp stand on when the little wonder has a 18hp blower for 3k that’s not a stand on but you’re basically paying 5k to stand on it. I paid 10k for the windstorm with the 37hp engine and it has a directional nozzle, next year I’m going to trade in the Ferris for another windstorm. You can turn off the fan, which you can’t on the Ferris. Keeps blowing even when you rev it down. And the directional nozzle is so much better than just picking a side, you get full 180 degrees with the scag

I haven’t used my wheel blower in 2 leaf seasons and carry a back pack blower a fraction of the time I used to. That allows me to run a faster and more consistent pace which translates into much higher revenue. Oh ya and it won’t call in sick or steal from me like and employee.
