When you search for flights, put your origin and final destination airport only. Choose any flight that are shown. Do not search separately for flights.
Sir I have a flight from Krabi to India via Kuala Lumpur.......6 hr layover in Kuala Lumpur......i have same PNR and i will not go out .....do i have to transit visa or fill up MDAC ????
Hi, I'm planning to book this same route. Can you help how to get the same PNR? PNR is generated after booking a flight so as far as I know it's not in our hands right?
Well it depends upon your ticket. If your both the tickets are in same PNR, then no need of transit visa. If you have different PNR, then you have to clear the immigration and for that you need transit visa.
Heyyy, as you have very recently travelled, can you please clear doubts about this malaysian visa. If i have a dufferent PNR and my layover is 4 hrs and i have a check in baggage, would i need malaysian transit visa. If we need to clear immigration would we not need a transit visa.
Yes in this case, you need a transit visa. As you have different PNR + you have a checked in luggage also. Your luggage will be taken out through belt. Then you have to clear the immigration, collect your luggage and re-check in that airport. So get your malaysian visa.
@@travelstories6876 Hello I have the same scenario as above except I do not have any check in luggage, I only have hand baggage with me, but different PNR. However my airline is same, AirAsia. Same terminal transfer KLIA2. Please help as my flight is 2 days from now, do i need to get Trasit Visa?
@@vishwanatheskuri9243 yes you have to get a transit visa because you will not be allowed to enter that transit hall. You have to clear the immigration first and then you have to check in at Air Asia counter for your next flight.
@@vishwanatheskuri9243 & India also when you check in for your kuala lumpur flight, you have to show your visa documents otherwise your first flight boarding pass will not be generated.
@@travelstories6876 Hello but for Indians we have visa free right? There is something called MDAC form. Do i need to fill that? And can you confirm if transit visa is given in airport or we should apply it online?
If the PNR is same then no transit visa required but if PNR is different then transit visa is required. Transit visa charges can be checked at Malayasia visa website.
@@travelstories6876I am travelling to Bali, have layover at Kuala Lumpur. Both the connecting flights have different PNR, if i dont have any checkin baggage (Only have cabin bag). Do i still need a transit visa in that case?
Hello Sir, I will be travelling from Delhi to Phuket via Kuala Lumpur. I understand that I need to apply for transit visa if the PNR are different. But since the Malaysian visa is free, do I still need to apply?
@@travelstories6876 ok! Thanks for the info.. can you pls tell me that approx how much time will it take in the security check so that I can prepare accordingly
