Now that machine brings back memories...of me going to Little Italy in Groveport around 1978, and playing this pin to my heart's content, while listening to the jukebox. In my mind, this is what a pinball should look and sound like.
Beautiful condition. Amazing. The amount of time I put into this machine when I was a kid at the local convenience store was obscene. Loved this machine. I just remember getting that double bonus and the points racking up.
My grandpa bought several pinball machines in the 80's when they started to fade away in favor of video games. He let my dad and my uncle pick the ones they wanted and gave them to each of them and he kept the one that was left over. My uncle picked one with a Las Vegas Casino theme I think, dad picked this one, the Spirit of 76 and I think my grandpa ended up with one that was a circus theme. My brother and I played it for hours on end. At one point, one of the relays or transformers went bad. I remember it took a long time for my dad to figure out what was wrong and to get the part. My brother and I eventually lost interest as we grew older; girls, sports, etc. We both left home at 18 and I don't know what my dad ever did with that game. I now wish we still had it.

I love this machine, but it's just so unforgiving....
Great game. Fast Draw is a little more fun to play.

How long are the legs? Are the legs in the back a different length?
The legs on EM Gottlieb's Pin's from the mid 50's to 1975 are 31 inches tall for all four legs.
