I am a Global Associate Director in Medical Affairs and have a BSc, no masters and 7 years Med Affairs experience at big pharma (Roche, MSD, AZ, etc - all med affairs roles). Maaaannnyyy people I know in Medical Information have BSc only too, no masters. You are right that generally, a BSc only makes it harder to compete for roles breaking into Med Affairs but in my experience it just means you will likely take the long road up once there! "Finessing the exposure" as you call it 😉Good information for aspiring MA colleagues, though!
Thank you 😊 🙏🏼. Big pharma no less. I’m soo excited. I would love to work at their New Jersey offices in the next two years, currently in South Africa.
hello :) how did you manage to do it , wich skills do we need to learn so that we can enter medical affairs as an MD (I am an MD as well ) thank you !!
Absolutely love your content! I recently graduated with a bachelors in human anatomy and I want to pursue a masters in public health. But I'm not yet specific about which branch I wanna go into. Thinking of epidemiology but my mind isn't made up yet.
I have a masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology, 5 years of cardiac rehab/stress testing experience and 1 year of research experience in clinical trials. I am looking to land a job with Medtronic, Boston scientific or Abbott laboratories dealing with cardiac medical devices in clinical affairs. What do you suggest I do to make myself more competitive? Are there any certifications I can obtain?
I completed my pharmd this year and am really confused about which degree to choose for like mph ,mha or reg affairs and if a masters degree or pgdiploma or a mba ....please do reply back
Excellent video! very informative. You mentioned taht MDs can apply to positions in medical affairs. Do they have to be registered and liscenced in the country in order to apply for the positions? Or is internatilan experience sufficient?
U said. Getting. Into. Amedical. Affair allot harder. Without master or doctor degree Is pharmD adoctor degree. Can get into thier. ..... plaeeeeeeese. Answer.
One piece of advice, don't go blah blah over urself or the channel, before u even deliver the promised content of the video.. make it precise n to the point

Can you make a video of the difference between medical affairs and Medical science liaison
I love the content. Thank you. Really is informative and insightful. My only comment is the intro music. Its too loud when listening via an earphone.
Hi,
It was an impressive video.
Could you also mention the countries who have a lot of opportunities in this field, please ?
I'm from the UK. Can you get into the leadership roles if you dont have a doctorate degree and just an MSc?
Im a bit confused...was it your MPH degree that lead you to the pharmaceutical world or you took a Pharm degree
Is it possible to go from Regulatory to Market Access?
Very well explained
Is there any online courses available
