Hey mate looking forward to seeing this next adventure, just an old fools advice but your jerrycan holders look close to the boat, they won’t rub into it on corrugations will they ? Also on the base of your jerrycan holders, get some cheep plastic cutting up boards from the two dollar shop and cut them to shape of the base, stops any wear and helps with rattles, don’t nick your mums either. Cheers mate.
Yeah, and some foam and carpet getting dunked in salt water dry out but hold the salt crystal which turns them into a sorta sandpaper. Something to look out for. Otherwise a bit of padding around jerry mounts would be helpful driving boat onto trailer.
Cheers mate.. and any advise is good advice man, I like when people can see what I miss. I have black rubber mat for the base of the Jerry can holders to cover bolts, i just didn’t mention it. And good eye, they are close, the plastic Jerry cans miss it, as they taper in at the top.. but the steel Jerry come close at the top. But all it needs is a bit of boat skid attached to the top of holder, and it’s enough to keep it from having free play. If that makes sense.
If i remember I’ll put it in another episode to show. Cheers again for the advice, and don’t stop.
