    Best line ever was "Hills pay the fitness bills" - The amount of gains you can make quickly from running hills weekly is off the charts:)

    Really interesting to listen to different perspectives. I love power hiking the steep sections but sometimes the running just feels easier - even if you are only going at the same speed!

      power = torque * rpm If you are a strong person with high torque on your legs, you could get good power just hiking uphill with long powerful strides and low cadence. If you are a weaker person with low torque on your legs, it would be easier for you to go uphill running with short light steps and high cadence
