This is Mechabellum! It is an auto-battler with deep strategy which encourages you to think about where to place your units, anticipation of your opponent's next move and how to counter their strategy.
Units that are naturally countered by others can be upgraded and changed to shore up their weaknesses - but all changes you make to your board are permanent! (with a few exceptions)

So I think you had a significant window to respond with wasps, and that was why he went typhoon. Sledges just ended up empowering the arc play. Also probably could have won with sabers if you took range on them because you were lacking damage as the game progressed. Gg tho, love your videos.
