Hey man, just wanted to say thank you for this. Just got into DCS a few days ago and it seems like all the guides and tutorials I find assume youre proficient in all these BFM concepts. Absolutely killer instruction, straight to the point, the graphics and animations for 3d space help tremendously. Thanks a ton brother, hope you have a great day 🎉
DCS is so niche that top notch videos like yours are only seen by a few. I've just found your channel and it looks like I'll be watching a lot in the coming weeks xD.
Brushing up again. Lol I developed a question rewatching this video.... say in a dissimilar environment where a dogfight is post merge and perfectly neutral (regardless of 1c or 2c, opposite sides of circle with no gains either side) Which problem would you really try to solve first in terms of range angles and closure to become offensive? Common sense tells me you want to solve for range first since it requires the most speed, then closure in the form of solving the angles using the energy maneuverability and throttles to maintain the CZ until the rule of threes get solved. Your enemy can either be faster or turn better so assuming you can fight your own fight, what is the best game plan for each environment?
"practice with a friend" sir I am brand new to this DCS franchise and have zero friends in the game. Guess it's time to stop being a nervous Nancy and get on discord and be *shudders* "vulnerable"
Exceptional. Love the chunked pieces on terminology to get to grips with.
This will soon become the 'go-to' series for Sim pilots. Well done, sir. Keep it up pls.
Thanks I have a lot more in the works.
Excellent presentation Solly

I'm glad it's helpful. I really appreciate the feedback.
Very clear and well explained. Those graphics must have taken some time to put together. And two videos in three days?... You are spoiling us :D
Keep it up mate!! So needed all of this given for granted in so many other places. Thanks for the initiative!!
