Here’s a soft acoustic cover of the beautiful song “Hamari Adhuri Kahani.” Returning home to sunny Florida, I was completely inspired by the serene natural landscapes to create something equally peaceful in its sounds and visuals.

This page has always brang top quality covers with good singer voices starting of with Jonita Gandhi.
Since she has gone, things have gone downhill and using this singer for this song wasn't exactly the right choice.

Anil Kamath I think that's part of trying to emulate or even singing differently than singers like Arjit Singh. Either way you are in trouble :)Arjit is one in a billion. he is great even when he sings low and high. So not fair for people to compare it to him. The singer did a good job!
I don't understand all the negativity. Yes, people are entitled to their opinion but to blatantly bash someone's work is not right. It takes a lot of effort to actually go through with these kinds of projects and make a video. Being a musician myself, I know how much work is involved behind the scenes. I personally enjoyed this cover and I look forward to more. Let's focus on the positives and enjoy the music! :)

I liked it! Always been a big fan of Aakash. Appreciate that he did not reply to those criticizing negatively, else he won't have time for the next cover. I am a UA-camr too and I know what it takes to make a music video from scratch, the time and money spent etc...Sitting back and critizing is too easy, come up with something better if you dare!! Here's a thought: Instead of bashing the singer for 'not being suited' to the song, or criticizing the producers for bringing him in (disagreeing is not bashing, blatantly abhorring those involved is), listen to this song as a whole new one. I personally have never heard the original song, and I thought this cover was amazing. Aditya Rao has one of the most unique voices among up-and-coming playback singers. Whenever I hear a cover of an original I know well, I try my best to distance myself from the original and listen to the cover for what it is. That way it is possible to appreciate both. Maybe a lot of the posters on here should try the same?

Congrats on 100k subscribers. I have been following this channel since 'yeh honsla' and i have been thrilled by each and every video you have released. The expectations have been set really high because of the high quality covers this channel has produced.
I would like to point out one thing based on the series of negative comments/criticism this video has received. A music video requires a lot of effort and commitment from the artists and sometimes the result doesn't turn great always(it might work for some and not for others depending on the genre/style/experiment). Let's be more supportive of the new talent that comes up in the videos and try to pitch in constructive criticism/feedback more subtly. I liked this cover.. :)

While each one of us are entitled to our opinions, I thought, this was an excellent effort of bringing musicians virtually and integrating beautifully! Keep up the good work. Looking for more amazing music from you. I remember how people initially did not like AR Rahman style of music and now see what he has done! Keep trying new things and don't let any of the negative comments affect your work.

its a matter of unusual TONALITY and VOCAL TEXTURE..opinions and choices are subjective..with all due respect to people disliking it,i beg to differ..heavy voices like JAVED BASHIR JAMES or sushila raman wont match usual taste of people but people like me n (thousands more i know ) must have been loving it...its got the blues feel!
