Hellcat engine swap is 100% legal - as long as you keep all the emissions with it.
As for insurance - you have to honest with your insurance. If you lie, they can deny your claim.
Insurance company aren't stupid. They know what their risks are and will charge you accordingly.

@Thalifeofaboss an LS is far superior to a hellcat or demon engine.. an LS can make 1200 hp with stock internals. Hellcat engines are being pushed to the limits thats why you see so many of them blown up.
