In my village SAKHARI, ANJANGAON SURJI, AMARAVATI we have biogas from my great grandfather. BIOGAS PLANT is so big that it can provide biogas continues to 4 families. We also have a much large backyard. we have plenty of cow dung because we have 4 cows and we sold left off milk in village at a reasonable price. MY SELF ANAND GAIKWAD I AM 19 YEAR OF AGE AND 1ST YEAR MBBS STUDENT. WE ARE FAMOUS GAIKWADS OF GAIKWAD DYNASTY OF BARODA.
in above video also user is wrongly putting raw wet waste when it need to grinded into pulp n than put into biogas plant along with tht there need to thermometer and pressure meter inside biogas plant to keep regular monitoring of temperature and gas pressure. also the C:N ratio of waste mix need to maintain to get max biogas for this dried leaves from trees/garden can be grinded by put along with home food waste.
Bio gas cooking in TN was introduced even in villages 33 years before, i saw many bio gas plants by using cow dung. They cannot be maintained regularly.so most of them became defunct.
its self sustainble people don't maintain basic and say biogas requires too high maintenance its operated in right way its will work for years just like solar water heater which like many govt fools releases every year tender for AMC. India only belive in fit n forget rather checking on its operational aspects n follow the SOP as per manufacturer.
would have been nice to know information about how much kitchen waste produces how much gas / cooking time. still, seems like a better setup than the natural gas a business extracts from underground and piped to my house that my family then uses to cook, here in suburban usa so good direction and intentions, but still other, better ways should be considered like wood-burning (especially with smart ways to reduce emissions/air pollution), maybe indirect, electrical solar panels, direct solar stoves/ovens of various kinds
10-15kg per day priduces 1cum (apart from food waste, vegetable waste, toilet waste, leaves, garden waste, etc.) als can be put in biogas plant after grinding into pulp form.

They are using it since eight years. So it has to be right. One can of course add improvisations. But the basic arrangement seems to be functional.
wonderful . Children have good insight.
Great idea
This is really cool! I've never heard of biogas before.

I agree with you, it requires very good maintenance, which in some places is not readily available

Do we have amc for maintaince biogas plant in pune
Issue is cow dung is a low cal product but using human waste could give better results. Or use kitchen waste like in video
