- Barrett Junction is an intersection of route 94 and Barrett Lake Rd., where the Barrett Junction Cafe/Restaurant/Bar used to host the locals with their BBQ ribs and famous Fish Fry, while also having breakfast buffet on the weekends. It was a popular stop for the motorcyclists riding route 94, car clubs, and other events. It's been closed for years now, but it's worth the stop to check out the old quonset hut style building and what is now just a piece of history. Epic roads & haunts you are capturing. Congrats on the 1290, how do you like it so far? I have the older 1190 also found with 3K, now at 34K miles. I've sailed past this restaurant a hundred times and never stopped in because of its middle of the run location. Thanks for making these awesome riding videos. I dig them. Hope you were able to keep the Speed Triple.
The 1290 is awesome. The shoot of this video was my first all day ride on the bike and I really don't have any complaints. I've been looking for an ADV bike for years, and this fits the bill nicely. The motor is addictive. :) Still have the Speed Triple. 👍 Thanks for the comment and feedback.
