    I purchased the Triumph Tiger900 GT PRO and yes the engine is what won me over. The sounds it makes is very entertaining. The low end grunt is an eye opener for an inline engine. Never thought a 3 cyl would be so good but it is.

    I put 10,000 miles on this bike in 36 days 2 months ago. It is, in my humble opinion, the best motorcycle I've ever ridden. It is a blast sport touring in absolute comfort and you can rip the most gnarly trails if you are fit enough to muscle 500 pounds up and down Colorado passes. Great review. It is a purchase for sure. For those worried about reliability, stop. I beat this bike silly and did not have a single issue with nearly 13000 miles on the bike now. @bobinenduro

      I bought a '22 in August of '22. I rode a GS, Africa Twin, and a few other bikes and wasn't even considering the Triumph until a dealer insisted I take one out. First ride sold me, and I have ridden the heck out of mine now.

    Love this bike too. Right now I'll stick with my Tracer for the road focus and touring. Living in Florida, I like Triumph to work on deflecting the heat from the radiator fans. With that remediated, I could see this becoming my primary bike for everyday use, touring, etc. Thanks, loved this review along with the GT review.

      Meh, I've had my '22 Tiger 900 Rally Pro for two years, and heat has never been an issue for me unless I'm riding generic jeans and not my riding jeans or pants. For some reason, heavy denim just soaks up the heat.

      @@spikejnz Yeah, I see some are torn by it based on all the reviews I’ve seen of this bike. In Florida I just didn’t enjoy my knees boiling at a stop light during the summer when I got to test ride one. lol I’ve seen some people have 3D printed molds that they 3M stick to deflect the heat. You seem to be in a nicer climate than me though? Cool video upload by the way!

    I got super lucky and found a 2023 Tiger 1200 Rally Pro for 15k with only 870 miles. Insane deal that I couldnt pass. Loving the shaft drive and comfy ergonomics. The weight and height is manageable and im only 5’6” with 29” inseam (definitely not a beginner bike tho Im glad I had dirt bike experience before buying it cause it helped manage that height)
    Edit: btw you do not need to wait for the screen to boot up, just hit the switch down while the screen is booting up and as soon as the fuel pump is done priming you can start it and go 👍

    i have a madstad windscreen on my tiger 1200 -- puts me in a bubble of clean air. The width of the madstad pushes the wind away from my ears -- so quiet! More degrees of adjustment than the stock and the puig.

    Great bike! I have a big tiger 1200 GT Pro and plan to look for a smaller one next year.
    Tigers are pretty good bikes, but what's with that dashscreen, is it some British humor? Why should the indicator lights be on the screen and why do they have to jump from one place to another in different menus? The screen has a wide frame, there is enought place to indicator lights and more. The Adventure bike could have a more practical dashboard, vanities could be reserved for street cruisers.

    I'm between this and the Africa Twin Adventure Sports. Went to Triumph Roswell (shout out to Aaron) and test rode this one because of your last video on the Tiger GT, but I just can't get over the wheels on the GT (why did you do that Triumph, why?). Literally test rode the Honda AT this morning at Mountain in Buford and... still can't decide. Help a brother out and do an ATAS video!

    • @christianburger25
      @christianburger25 Місяць тому +2

      The AT Adventure Sports ES is going to cost a bit more as you need to add some things that come standard on the Tiger. The AT also has electronic suspension though but with a 19" front is more street oriented. It is also the better looking bike IMO.
      That being said the Rally Pro is going to be better off road and comes with so many things as standard like heated seats and a center stand.
      Tough call!

    • @raphymartinez
      @raphymartinez Місяць тому

      @@christianburger25 very tough call. I feel stuck. (Good problem to have and not complaining at all) Just wish there was something to sway me one way or the other. Only thing the Tiger has that the AT doesn't is the heated seat (which barely does anything on the Tiger and I don't care for) and the center stand. AT has the electronic suspension, car play, and it's lower so my 5' 6" self can more comfortably stop while on it. But... That Tiger engine and responsiveness .. man. Help lol

    Is there any changes on the 2024 model compared to the 2020 model?

    • @spikejnz
      @spikejnz Місяць тому +2

      Yes. Head is updated, as is camshaft. Therefore, the tune is also different. The frame is mostly the same. The seat is updated, as are the tank and tank fairings and beak. Also, the TFT is completely new and the tachometer is more like the 1200. No more useless butterfly wings!

    The BMW F900 XR also has a computer that is slow as a snail. Press a button then wait… wait… wait…. aaand finally the menu moves. It’s so slow that the problem presents a safety concern. Instead of being able to make my inputs without looking at the screen, I have to stare at the screen to ensure it’s accepted my input and finished playing the transition animation before I can hit the next button. The delay is remarkably dumb. Motorcycle manufacturers need to start employing people who know how computers work. There are too many luddites in management positions at BMW and Triumph who don’t care about the tech experience.

    Have you checked out the BMW F 900 GS? I’ve been going back and forth between that and the Tiger 900 for awhile now

    • @dainhamilton7746
      @dainhamilton7746 Місяць тому +2

      I rode both, in my opinion the f900gs is way more off-road biased than the triumph is. Sure, triumph has the rally features, wheel size, sump cover etc, but it also still focuses on the on road rider aids and the triple engine doesn't have quite as much first gear pep compared to the f900 which is more valuable if you want it primarily for the off-road purposes. But if you want a bike that does both I'd say the triumph is the way to go

    • @jacobgaylord9277
      @jacobgaylord9277 Місяць тому +1

      @@dainhamilton7746 That’s really great info, thank you! I’ve been looking for a bike I could ride on rock climbing trips (and everything in between):
      - 4-7 hours freeway stints (comfortable, cruise control)
      - loaded up with camping/climbing gear (~40-50 lbs of gear)
      - steep, washed out fire roads (solid off-road capability)
      I know there are plenty of great options out there (T7, Africa Twin, etc) but so far these two have held my attention the most. Have yet to swing a leg over either though, hopefully this coming spring.

    • @TheDarkness_92
      @TheDarkness_92 Місяць тому +2

      I rode both and went for the Tiger... the GS is WAY more offroad focused, harsh suspension and a very hard seat
      So it really depends what you want to do...the Tiger is a do it all bike with way more comfort but can do offroad too for sure.
      With all the features the Tiger has already on board it also makes it cheaper I guess.

      All down to what you ride like. The desert X is full Ducati, it wants to be ridden hard at all times and protests when you don't. The tiger purs down low around town and rips when you get on it. Better all around but the desert X is phenomenal in it's own right.
