Japan is and will always be a fascinating country to me, it never fail to delight me with many different experiences every time I visit the country. We visitors are kind of used to some of it’s uniqueness, but I believe it will have many more to offers, my partner and I are patiently waiting to visit Japan soon when things get back to normalcy. Thanks 😊
Hi, thank you for your comment. Among all over Japan, Hokkaido is typically unique because we have different hostory from other parts of Japan. We don't have many famous temples and historical monuments on one hand, we do have more of amusement with rich nature.
I've seen those snacks at my local Japanese grocery market. One of my favorite childhood memories is me munching on Shrimp Chips with my mum while reading books and drinking something called "Calipico" at a beach while my dad was fishing for salmon. I spent 10 years van dwelling in the USA. I traveled everywhere. Lived completely free. I loved it. Still do. I can't wait until I can go back to it. One of the great ironies of my life is that 30 years after my mum and I were complaining on that beach about my dad's love for fishing, I was at the same location fishing for salmon because I wanted dinner while munching on umeboshi-onigiri just like he useto. I don't know that in Japan there are classes of RV depending on size and configuration. In the USA there are Class-A, Class-B, Class-C, etc. I personally own a 17-foot Class-B.
"Calipico" was one of my favorite snacks in my childfood.Looks soft-cream but you can eat at nomal tempurature! I felt it an innovative snack in those days, haha. Everytime I watched UA-cam cannel of American vanlifers, I am a bit jeolous since the size of the cars are more than enough to the level where you staly comfortably in the home.
My comment about the boy who carried the Jagariko bag that was a gift for him: 1. It shows that the boy values the people who gave him the gift a lot. 2. Even if he were embarrassed to have to carry the bag for a month, the boy would have grown emotionally stronger not to let other people's comments bother him. By being dedicated to his plan which he had announced on Twitter, he eventually overcame his fear of ridicule. 3. Unintentionally, the boy gained fame overseas which again, will boost his confidence. Like you said, sometimes we don't know how things will turn out when we try something new, but whatever is the experience, we should reflect on it.
Tqvm for brought our mind 'out of boxes '😁😁😁...new vanlife community is something that I can't imagine if it's someday become popular n change the social structures of societies..
@@LostinHokkaido But seriously, I was thinking of opening an atelier for making cosplay or at least making exact everyday clothes that is worn by anime characters as my retirement plan. But that is still way ahead in the future given the uncertainties of the present situation of the world...
For some reason, you sounds like my dad now, talking about his experiences of working and studying at other countries when he was young few decades ago 😅
I felt that all must experience life as much as possible. We are usually all too busy in our daily / working life. Now we have more time but being restricted by the current Pandemic. Wonder what is the younger Japanese generation’s mindset like?

Hi, Hui-san. Thank you as always giving me your feedback. I can reconfirm if the story telling of the contents was to the point.

Yes, my dream is to keep living in a van, and no need to go to work at a particlular office every day.

I was surprised to see many Malaysians know and love cosplay because I thought it was popular only in Japan.

Do you mean ”北海道”? If "Yes", this is "Hokkaido". I needed to input the location where I shot the video in uploading. Did I answer correctly?
