Thanks for the example. Could you explain why you chose 2 as a bound to determine if the iterations diverge to infinity? Is that an arbitrary choice or is there some mathematical reason if the output of the function exceeds +/- 2 we can assume it diverges to infinity?

You can define a function that takes a region of your interest and computes details in that region it works great for poor man's fractal zoom
