this is amazing
Hi Tymon, can you please help me, I really wanna learn more advanced pseudo f2l, could you help me, or do an complete tutorial on it, I would appreciate a lot
Hey Tymon, I’ve also made a pseudo slotting tutorial on my channel, can you please just comment anything that you think about the tutorial?
After more than 10 years of cubing, I learned something new today. Thanks, great video!
Hey Cubehead, this is a great tutorial. I‘ve had full OLL/PLL memorized for about 6 months and have hit sub-20 only a few times so this (with a lot of practice) will help. Not bad for 59 years old.
59 years old but can pull sub 20? dang your really good! im 14 years old and shocked while reading ur comment, this is my first time seeing an old man solving cube that fast in my life
it breaks my heart that someone like you, who is genuinely trying to help and is passionate about cubing, is so u under-rated, keep it up man, bless!
If you learn G Perms intuitively, you may notice that all the G perms actually mess around pseudo pairs. that's how I learnt pseudoslotting . Any sub 30 solver who knows full PLL Can learn Pseudoslotting. In my case, I learnt pseudoslotting averaging 38.
Added this one to my "to do/to learn"-list 🔥🔥🔥
First time i have heard about Pseudoslotting today. Looks like something I need to fix my F2L. I saw the J-Perm video you talked about today. I like the idea of stacking 2 items and turning the D layer.
this is so nostalgic seeing cubehead without glasses. 😅
Subscribed, bud. This is a great, quality video. Keep producing stuff like this and you'll keep growing. Thanks for the hard work.
Yooooooooooooooo (lol) you are the best! You helped me get from 13 to 12-1@seconds with all of your incredibly amazing tutorials! Keep it up, I love your channel.
Wow!!
I see ur channel for first time but this quality is so good. Nice video, dude
This is so helpful! Big fan!
I did not know keyhole, but I know the method kinda from 4x4 edgepairing. I never realised it works for f2l as well. Thank you so much!
Awesome i have a comp in June and I average around 20-25 seconds and with this I shaved it down to about 15 to 17 seconds. You’ve saved my tail!
Good one Brother. You highlighted the moves so that we can understand what is going on. Keep up your good work.
Cube head im watching you videos and j perm’s video was confusing but after I watched yours I just found out that the pdf j perm gave us helps in slottings yay
Thanks for the in depth tutorial!
although I dont know all of the things in this video , everything in this video is super useful, love this video . Btw, I'm averaging 21 second right now , hope I will improve in the future
After 2 years in my cubing life I was learnt something in you cube head
It was amazing
great vid, good explanation , good vibe, keep it up. You are on to something good
Thank for the in depth tutorial.
Amazing channel! Your channel is really gonna blow up with these high-quality contents
I never heard of the term "pseudoslotting" until watching this video. haha. i didn't expect that such technique exists. lol. thanks for this video, i learned a lot. :)
That yooo in the intro.
I felt that
this is SOOOO MUCH FUNNNNN !
thank you for taking the time to explain and demonstrate!
Omfg y tf u only have 356 subscribers??? U deserve way way way more subs than that nice vid tbh
@@DrLevipevi yes, I record with my phone aswell, it can run 4k60fps. I just pointed that out idk why lol don't hate me
i am learning the ZB method and I'm going to combine this ultra intuitive technique with the ZB algset. i will be unstoppable !
Congrats! 1M
Best channel!
I've been trying to learn this technique on my own and I'm watching this video because I'm bored and I hope with this I'll be able to master it faster.
If this is difficult for you think of it this way its like the beginner method of solving layer by layer but in fewer moves and a more efficient way thanks Milan for this great video
great tutorial thanks man.
I totally understand now and - don’t tell J Perm - but for some reason this one made much more sense to me.
I loved the every bit of the video, quite useful man!.
what software tool you have been using to edit the videos ?
Great to hear! I use Final Cut Pro, but I don’t consider myself an expert with the software, my first video a month ago was the first time I touched the program haha
I Understand this after I came back before I averaged 15sec but now all my solves are under 10sec thx cube head
Wow... This is awesome.
Great video!
this is so helpful thanks
I loved that dramatic intro
When he said come back after 2 years I was like 🙂😂
Butttt even tho idk full oll and pll I understood what he was saying, and this is so freaking cool I didn't know I could do that 😃
Awesome video, thx.
*Came back from 4months and 13days of practice finally sub 10*
*thank you*
Hardest part is watching video to the end once you kind of get it. I was dying to go try it out!
Your intro is as good as a movie
Such a nice video!
You earned a Subscriber :)
Very usefull video
I did not understand the first part then so I came back after a year just like he said n now it's ez to understand
Wait so does this mean we've all pseudoslotted when we're on the third pair and the edge is solved but the corner is not and we moved the bottom layer to insert the corner and not have to do a long alg
@CubeHead saw this a year ago and finally understand.
nice video!
Wow. I cant wait to get good at this. F2L takes me 16s rn
Would be very interesting but I believe the recognition is what's holding it back
With 15 years of cubing experience, and as someone who does cross on left, I have to say I find this interesting. I predicted this innovation back in 2012 on a speedsolving.com interview. I talked about a multi slotting technique that allows you to solve 2 f2l pairs at once. Google my name and speedsolving.com. Also, back in 2016 I coined the term pseudo slot but for a method involving ZZ I was working on. Needless to say I was surprised to hear anyone talking about it in 2020, albeit in a different sense but same term...
From the interview I did:
What will the future of cubing be like and how would you like cubing to progress?
The future of cubing will be much like it is now, obviously with more people, but I think it will die off again around the year 2020. I predict that for 3x3 times will get around 5 seconds but no faster than that, guaranteed. Hopefully televising at least Worlds will happen in the next couple years. Fridrich will stay the most common method, until one develops a highly advanced form of algorithmic multi-slotting that combines F2L pairing/insertions to get F2L consistently in 3 seconds and over all move counts to average 30-35.
Hello, I'm your big fan😊
Most handsome cuber
That's pretty cool!
I think the recognition will be hard for pseudo pairs though.
If you are left with last two pairs and you find both of the edges are solved or one corner one edge solved then the recognition will be much easier
yo , how do i solve cross and f2l in less than 10 seconds, or how do I accelerate lookahead? i average around 20 seconds and it's been around a month with very similar times and although I've got better at lookahead, it still takes me 11-14 seconds to complete cross+f2l and it's not so cool after time passes and you can't see progress :( thanks
I forgot I was on x0,25 and the beginning of the video was epic 😃
Any tips for doing this while look ahead?
would you mind making some video about Xcross pseudo & pseudo f2l !!! It's very useful !!!
This is a great tutorial. I just don’t get why people are acting like this is some new method invented. It’s just multi slotting, Feliks has shown many examples of this.
You have been chosen to be commented by me and like by me. My job is to say hi to people near the bottom of the comment section
Woow you even foun Tymons comment with sub 4 time. Nice :)
The intro song was written by NF
You may not use it unless he gets royalties
Wish i knew this sooner :
I don't understand the keyhole and edge orientation in the description
After 7 years of learning more and more f2l algorithms and archieved the best goal of my life, improve from 25 sec. On average to 32 seconds on average (I'm serious) I will give this method a second chance, the reason why I've quitted pseudo was the 2/3 minutes avg, I felt something like too much indoctrinated into standard f2l to change and learning something new, but I think that thankfully to this video I understood some mistakes I've made during pseudo learning/training thank you
Napalm 51 that’s great to hear! Keep me up to date how the training is going 😊
@@CubeHead Hi there, thank you for the interest, and sorry for delay; this is one of the most interesting f2l methods I've learned until now, for the moment is hard to know when I will see the first progress , having only half hour maximum 1 hour per day for studing, I will need a lot of months to improve. Now I've focused one of a myriad of problems and I'm looking again the video to understand how to work with a free standard pair, and really easy 2 standard pairs (when the brain decide to look ahead). I've watched some yours videos, really cool concepts I saw myself (as a bad example) when you spoken about algorithms (Lear the best algorithms and fingerticks at the same time). Started to study 7 years ago most of 2look pll and oll are older than me, worst algorithms and fingertriks set of the world. So I hope you'll improve far with 2x2 have a good luck
hi cube head can you pl provide me with some more helpful links actually you did very fast the example solves
I was wondering if I should switch from advanced f2l to this for all solves or would it be better to stick to normal f2l
Just try to do that whenever you get one edge and one corner solved, you can imply this technique when you find two edges adjacent to each other are solved as well since it requires you only a three move insert a corner to setup a pseudoslot cases and if edges you take out are solved means that you don't have to rotate during pseudoslot
Can you insert any corner?
Veri clin video
nice video
do you think this could become a new method
Mind. Blown. But I get it!
0:05 i was like: wait did u just-
Nice
Ya thats I called a dramatic entry
CubeHead: "Just come back in a few years"
Me: Is this a joke? No, really?
Great
It’s weird, I’ve been cubing for less than a year and I understand this
I learn more new stuff today
At 5:41 it all clicked in my brain but then ...
My head hit the wall and I blacked out lol
I'm still trying hard in Pseudo Slotting. Rather I've use Petrus instead. Because I've like rotation in the whole 3x3 Cube
what if i donthave any pairs
Can this work with roux?
can you make a Pseudo pdf
The OLL on the thumbnail lmao
And also nice vid
I'm pretty sure the first sub-3 solve will involve an x-cross, pseudo-slotting and oll and pll skip.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure Patrick Ponce got a sub 3
Max park knowing pseudoslotting was scary
1:19 when he said *jperm's video* my captions showed j p*rn's video 😂😂
i learnt everything from you @cubehead
8:28 talk about about choosing the most obvious pair, doesn't do the 3 move pseudo pair on the right 🙈
(I'll just comment it myself 😅)
CubeHead yeah I saw that and it led into another 3 mover
@@owenbrooks2663 yeah the chances to get easier cases is bigger with pseudo slotting, cool that you saw that yourself!
cubehead, i literally became sub 20 yesterday and today i got my pb of 12.19 seconds using an x-cross and this pseudoslotting technique! (pll skip too) my tps is terrible tho.
Lol
