You guys were being very generous towards Loosa. That eye poke was very light and he said he couldn't see without blinking his eye and it wasn't even red. Dude was on his way to getting finished by Battle and took the easy way out.

@@cavemanyogi150 Yes. Cody 100% took the easy way out in a fight that he was definitely going to lose. It actually worked out much worse for Malkoun , because he got a loss due to disqualification, whereas Battle only got a no-contest.

I feel like Petroski is live to death gas (a la Eliott vs Royval) after R1. If he was more of an underdog, I might take a shot on R1 finish, but as is, I think Fremd is the side.

Just looked up Mexico City results, last time at elevation. Nobody came in late replacement, that I can see. In February, the 12-fight card featured 6 decisions and 6 finishes. This is roughly equal to the normal average, not at elevation, before the glove switch. It will be interesting to track the performances of the late additions to the denver card this week. Maybe a parlay with their opponent's winning for funsies?

Given that Muslim Salikhov may be one of the wise men followed the star out of the East, Weezy definitely looks younger. He probably looked the same when Gilgamesh spoke to Utnapishtim, and before that when he helped paint the caves at Lascaux. He have only looked slightly younger when he attended Lucy's first birthday in Olduvai Gorge. I'm not expecting a great fight. Lots of nothing, with Ponz doing slightly less nothing and edging out a decision.
This definitely gets comment of the week! Maybe the year, the references used to the oldest works on the planet were all 5 stars. Bravo!

It should be Rose. It should be Rose by a nautical mile. Some people have said they think the striking will be close. I heartily disagree. Rose went five rounds with Joanna. Cortez's striking looked less crappy against Jasmine, one of the worst strikers ever. Night and Day. ^n-1. That said, I think Cortez is better on the ground than Carla Esparza (and Gillian Robertson), and the prospect of having to deal with that may give Rose fits. She may retreat into a tiny corner of her brain and proceed to lose a fight that Pat Barry assures her she is winning. I think any value on Cortez MUST be based on not trusting Rose. I could see this coming out as a greasy split/maj, or even a draw. Lastly, we may not have seen Cortez go five rounds, but...would she give up? Ever? She wants to win all her fights. I expect her to come mentally well-prepared and in shape.

Alhassan is a one-trick pony. At this point, a one-trick pony a loss or two removed from the glue factory. Against most opponents, I would be willing to fade Brundage, but I think I trust Alhassan even less. Brundage to win ITD by something unusual that makes a meme highlight.

I will watch tape on Kline before making any final choices, and timing, etc. but I was never high on Jasmine. She's basically a more plodding version of Maycee Barber...if you take away striking ability, power, youth, potential for improvement, looks, and personality. Her stand up striking is godawful. But hey, she does fight for your money and give entertaining fights. Here's hoping Kline lives up to the hype and shows out. If Kline's tape isn't spectacular, I'll probably pick Jasmine by decision.
Erosa keeps his hands low. Absorbs over 6 strikes a minute. Can’t trust that… CeeRod can win two rounds for sure.

I don't see C-Rod as a damage threat. I also don't see him bringing ANYTHING Erosa hasn't seen before. And Erosa is way bigger. And more dangerous. And an underdog. Best value on the card IMO and I bet it already. But...sigh...yeah, he might find a way to lose anyway.
I really like Jean Silva, but this is too much, too soon, too high. If he doesn't catch him the way he did Frevola, I think he gases out hard and Dober takes him out late. Dober would be smart to turn R1 into a boring cage-pushing type contest, but he's probably too cool to do that. As a fan, I respect that a lot. As a bettor, I think if he did that he could look -250, easy. But I'm picking him either way, and I'll put his money line somewhere on a full card parlay, probably near the bottom.
