No group is for everybody. That said a lot of folks-obviously-love Babymetal and appreciate that theirs is a unique and wonderful experience. Glad you guys are enjoying them.
◼ 🤍 🖤 ◻ Su doesn't use a lot of vibrato, she just hits her notes cleanly and directly, like a boss. If you're looking for more songs that show off her range, I'd suggest 'BxMxC', 'Shanti Shanti Shanti', or like this one, anything from the latest album 'THE OTHER ONE'.

Nice reaction! The song "Monochrome" is one of my favorite songs with beautiful melody, very positive lyrics, SU's great voice, and MOA&MOMO's choreography, all perfect!🦊💕
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。I witnessed this very performance at the venue where and when Momoko was inducted into BABYMETAL officially. Yes, she had a headset mic for the first time like Moa has had since BM's inception. I sang the ♪ oh oh ohoo ♪ part with Momometal with my loudest voice in the show holding my phone. I was in bliss, for sure! The flying drones with cameras that enabled the beautiful aerial cinematograph were manipulated by experts including Ms. Shiraishi. She is a member of team Japan for World Drone Racing Championship. Our Kami Band played in the girls' back. They have supported BABYMETAL since 2019. Japanese fans always appreciate the devoted support like knights by Chris, CJ, Anthony, and 3 bassists (Clint, Ryan, Matt). They are really unsung heroes.
Nice one, thanks! "Monochrome" is kinda on their poppier side but the tone of those guitars is really surprising. The Other ONE album is a masterpiece as a whole. And they go definitely heavier in "Mirror Mirror", "MAYA", "Believing" or "Divine Attack" (for example). 🤘🦊
Speaking of Bloodywood, we THINK they have a collab with Babymetal...they introduced a new song at a concert a few nights ago that sounded like Babymetal vocals...we're waiting for official word. I definitely recommend from Babymetal's The Other One album: "Mirror, Mirror", "Believing" and "Maya".
Monochrome is near the top for me on Babymetal songs, to be fair, it's hard choosing top Babymetal songs as really, they're pretty much all good. The piano version of Monochrome on The First Take's channel is also great and is worth a listen as it showcases Su-Metal's vocal talent very well. Actually got into Babymetal off of the Electric Callboy collaboration, whom I had seen live just days before the release of at Sonic Temple. Had known Babymetal's name for years, just never gave them a listen until the collaboration. Since then though, been nearly non-stop listening. I'll actually be seeing Babymetal in less than 24 hours from now in Cincinnati, which will be a solid 4 hour drive for me.
Nice reaction. Babymetal has a wide variety to their music. Which is one of the reasons I like them. I can listen to the whole album and not feel like the songs just blended from one to another. Getting ear tired or bored. Instead, I look forward to the next song wondering what they will do next. Especially with their live performances. Su humming is a first for them. Audience participation is mandatory at a Babymetal concert. Moa has said they don't feel like their songs are complete until it's performed with an audience. This show they welcomes Momoko into Babymetal in a most heartwarming way. During the humming part Moa is right at Su's side. Momoko off on her own. Then Su reaches out to her and the Duo that once was Su and Moa have become a trio again in center stage Su Moa and now Momoko. Babymetal started out as a trio of Su Moa and Yui. Sadly, Yui left Babymetal officially in 2018 but had stopped performing with them During 2017 due to health issues. No one and I mean No ONE knows what the health issues were. And anyone who does isn't talking. On that note Su and Moa have said they keep in touch with Yui and think of her as family. As you go down the foxhole, you'll get to see how close Yui and Moa are. Su Yui and Moa spent a lot of time together. Su has mentioned how much it hurt when Yui left but it led to the bond between Su and Moa growing stronger. After 2 albums They welcomed Momoko to the group. Back to full power they have been reenergized and the joy they are performing with is infectious. The foxhole is deep and full of surprises
Good reaction. I think the word you were looking for was 'mellow' rather than 'poppy' to describe the song. This is one of their songs about hope for the future, things may seem at an all time low, your darkest hour and surely there is no coming back from it, but "No matter how long the night, the morning will arrive". This was Momometal's first concert as an official member, Su calling her and Moa across to her was the first time she had been called Momometal on stage - and of course the crowd with their phones "lighting up this dark, dark world" while Su hummed the melody was a special moment (one they have recreated at shows all around the world since this was filmed). PIA Arena is actually one of the smaller arenas they have played recently in Japan, I think the capacity is about 12k, but there were very specific reasons they chose to perform these particular concerts there that I won't go into now. If you want heavier songs from this album you could try 'Divine Attack', 'Mirror Mirror', 'Maya' or 'Believing' (again the PIA Arena performances of all those are good, these were two great concerts).
