The issue with Holograms is that for people that use certain teams that have to start building up their rotation like Jinhsi team, will struggle in the first 20secs because both of the new Holograms have a fast attack pattern. I was struggling at the beginning non stop because I wanted to do my freaking rotation but as soon as I actually dodged the first 1~10secs and then done the rotation, it was smooth as shit. Holograms aren't designed for people to turn off brain and spam rotations, you gotta find the window and it's easy as hell
Well sentry i did it with jinhsi, if the attacks patterns are too overwhelmin i suggest you to groundher when you enter in incarnation, its easier to dodge. Also use the incarnation and graple combo to get some height when needed.
Isn't the jinhsi team the easiest on this hologram? There is so much attack that can be dodged that its easier to gain energy. And it's not like anything changes since every jinhsi team will need to build up for rotation, actually doesn't this just makes it easier for the team?
People should have already learned this from Crownless. Did they just forget? I use Yuanwu so I dont care about outros, you can just counter attack to quickly enter her enhanced BA, which can then be done at your pace, dodge between every hit if you have to... its literally the easiest for Jinhsi who can dodge without interrupting her combo and doesnt need 2 outro rotations, people just dont use their brains. Forget the damn full buff perfect rotations its not a race.
Well, Rex ain't wrong tho. Western's content(video content) is more on farming drama than playing the game. Some western CCs: new hologram is ez (*a whaler or used premium teams), tho there's nothing wrong with that, use what you pulled. If you saw Rex vids, he overcomes this challenges (literally in a way you can call you really beat the boss' mechanics rather than brute forcing your way to beat them).

That's pretty good. I also have skill issues, but it still took me a while to clear it. It's definitely not impossible to clear, but it might need a lot of work if you're not good at the game.
yeah, one shots are really not fun, they are just frustrating for the sake of it, and fighting those flying bosses like Sentry and Falacy when you're put on a clock that buffs the boss if you take too long, it just feels really tyring

well... 14 attempts and less than one hour.. but how long did you had to practicing dodging ALL of the hit? cause a single hit from anything shot you already at lvl 5 , 4 already shot you with many attacks but not all so you can "kinda make mistakes" but really, i can't have fun when 1 bad dodge = death XD

For someone with major skill issues like me, having Carlotta in the team is a lifesaver. I was only able to clear Fallacy whenever she was part of the team. My first one was through SK-Changli-Carlotta.
NGL I don't really like how the latest Holograms felt like they had a cheat code in some limited characters. When Inferno Rider released I just cleared it with Jinhsi in 3 to 4 tries thanks to flying power, now with Falacy, after struggling using XLY with a very good build and Yinlin, with her weapon, with some really high echo quality, I remembered it must have a havoc weakness. Brought my Camellya on EoG, very low 66/270ish crit ratio, free Sanhua for support, got it first try, yeah I got one-shoted two or three times and had to use a revive, but the way it felt 10x easier by just changing character felt like I was cheating
That's the whole point of having multiple teams with multiple character synergies though. For SOME F2P, they might not be possible to change team due to lack of units for saving waifu/meta unit they want. Some characters performs better than others in certain scenarios like you just explained. It's not cheating, it's called knowledge and the rest is skills.

Ok I just beat both holograms, XY against the Sentinel and Carlotta against Fallacy. Alongside them both are double healers, Verina and Shorekeeper + food and petrol buffs, and no I am not ashamed to use item buffs.

My biggest issue with the holigrams is occasionally my i frames dont work, like dodges dont register and sometimes ill die in the middle of ability animations like jinhsi E
I struggle on the boss solely because I cannot kill it before every single thing oneshots me, I'm close to killing him at the 5 minute mark, but man, it's fucking insane once he gets infinite stacks. Way to punish people for running subpar teams, as if the timer was not enough
While Jiyan wasn't DMG powercrept looking at this gameplay it shows how Jiyan was "mobility crept" also hope they fix the retry in this, on normal holograms they disappear 1~2sec after you cancel and you could cancel from pause menu(esc) too
Rex hits the AOE taunt and it works every time. Drive yourself to do better and master the boss fight. You have quite literally infinite time to do so. If a solo Danjin can clear it, your entire team can, get to grinding, kings.
I did both holo bosses in the first sitting, but it took a few goes. Yeah, I had to change the team setup to deal with the faster attacks and output more damage, but no complaints about it and got the new skin reward. Also, reading the bosses stages "features" for the fight would let you know about the damage dot that happens and you'll sit at 30% or so, HP. So you basically are 1 tap and forces you to learn his moves and dodge.
For this boss when he is flying you will most likely have to dodge his every attack. Until he uses his parry attack after he is done shooting and then take him down
Got my ass cooked for 1 hour back in January 3, 2025 when I am trying to beat these 2 hard holograms. Fallacy is way more difficult for me than the Gargoyle. I used my Xiangli Yao team with the Shorekeeper, people really need to know the beauty of XLY's slow down time during his Liberation and Liberation-mixed-skill that is a highly underrated part of his kit that I don't see anyone talking about. If you actually master the timing in which you can dodge the boss's attacks during his slow time event you'll have good results I'm saying to you. I have actually used Jiyan team and Camellya team at first but since Jiyan and Camellya needs to be on field for a whole 10 seconds when they need to combo is not a good thing to do during when the bosses continue their barrage. That's why I swapped to my Xiangli Yao Team and got way more easier time to combo and deal damage to the boss while dodging them properly.
Best bosses in gacha gaming, beautiful and tricky attacks, I am just disappointed how many players are *itching about them in comment section because they aren't easy (prolly they only play gacha games and never tried PGR or any Souls games)
As an Asian Region Player, myself, it's not like Rexlent is wrong about how MOST Western CCs react to this Game. He does not mind if a Western CC can clear super hard Bosses but we all can clearly see most would just flap their gums on how hard it is, and this is not even limited to Chinese Action Gacha Games but every hard Game in general (best example being FromSoft Games). For most Asians, if they're told about something they're accussed of being weak at that they could quickly improve, I dare say some would go through hell to prove someone wrong with results rather than compmaining and making excuses. Also, it's not like Rexlent hasn't struggled like the average Player before. He would spend HOURS off-stream or unrecorded getting hit by every single attack an enemy throws at him. That's how most High-Skilled Players I know get good at beating Bosses. Just get beat-up by them constantly and you will eventually know their every move.

Not totally related to the video, but the highlight on earning technical points in the last Tactical, kinda helped me with facing off Fallacy. My dodges improved a bit.
It took me 13 minutes after unlocking Fallacy VI to solo it with Chixia. I don't agree with Rexlent about it being the hardest to date -- personally, I still think that goes to Crownless just because of how much new stuff there was to learn, but I haven't done Sentry Construct yet so maybe that one will change my mind xD Also good job in proving him wrong about Western CCs, that was a pretty wild take for him to make ngl

I used Xiangli Yao on the Sentinel Construct Gargoyle Hologram and his Resonance Liberation time stop helped me a lot to counter his flight mode and it's a gap closer too 😅
western CC's can actually clear it, and No, I'm talking about mostly those CC's who are mostly under 50k or even under 10k subs, even those 100+ sub only because most of them are too focus on really playing no yap or coping excuse jujutsu s*** which probably what Rex really is targeting, well that's how i see it.
The Sentry Construct is definitely difficult, l only started level six today but with enough practice its definitely doable, ill probably be able to beat it tomorrow
As long as you focus a bit more on dodging and do your rotations slower its really not hard, its harder than most content and that's really cool and fun but this is not "facing malenia for the first time" kinda tough, its just not. just dodge the things and do the big number thing, this just isn't hard xD
Am I the only one who struggled way more with inferno rider? It took me like 8 tries for phallacy and 12 tries on sentry construct It took me less than 15 tries on every hologram in general But inferno rider took me like 40+ tries
I did fallacy easily, both with camellya and carlotta. The other boss of averardo vault was more difficult because it has annoying animations. The most difficult and tough hologram remain inferno rider, at lvl 100 it's very tough. I use it as practice for training.

While I disagree that Western CCs only do drama and arent good at the game, I watch ton of smaller western CCs with under 5K subs who post amazing ToA and Hologram clears and guides on UA-cam. But what Rexlent refers to is I believe the bigger gacha CCs who yes, he is right, are very far removed from the usual playerbase and honestly cover more drama than anything about the game itself. I dont watch any of the big CCs except Tectone (cuz he always makes me laugh), because almost all of them are super dumb, play gacha all day, do cringe gacha wars, and act like they better than their audience or others who play the same games. I think issue comes when Rex acts like he doesnt do drama and he is above it all when that is clearly not the case, he does enough drama farming too, and is quite toxic himself

that was my 1st mistake as well, doing TOA rotations. i removed that thing and concentrated on dodging and timing my swaps.

That's pretty good. I also have skill issues, but it still took me a while to clear it. It's definitely not impossible to clear, but it might need a lot of work if you're not good at the game.

My main issue with the holograms are the one shots and the periods of excessive movement when some characters need time to do their setups...

yeah, one shots are really not fun, they are just frustrating for the sake of it, and fighting those flying bosses like Sentry and Falacy when you're put on a clock that buffs the boss if you take too long, it just feels really tyring

Well currently I have every crest in every zone in TOA and cleared ever stage 6 hologram in huanglong, but yeah, I guess I could definitely just be a casual... Also just because something is difficult doesn't mean that it also needs to be annoying.

For someone with major skill issues like me, having Carlotta in the team is a lifesaver. I was only able to clear Fallacy whenever she was part of the team. My first one was through SK-Changli-Carlotta.

NGL I don't really like how the latest Holograms felt like they had a cheat code in some limited characters. When Inferno Rider released I just cleared it with Jinhsi in 3 to 4 tries thanks to flying power, now with Falacy, after struggling using XLY with a very good build and Yinlin, with her weapon, with some really high echo quality, I remembered it must have a havoc weakness. Brought my Camellya on EoG, very low 66/270ish crit ratio, free Sanhua for support, got it first try, yeah I got one-shoted two or three times and had to use a revive, but the way it felt 10x easier by just changing character felt like I was cheating
That's the whole point of having multiple teams with multiple character synergies though. For SOME F2P, they might not be possible to change team due to lack of units for saving waifu/meta unit they want. Some characters performs better than others in certain scenarios like you just explained. It's not cheating, it's called knowledge and the rest is skills.
I don't know the specific reason, but having Carlotta, even without maxed stats and signature, helped me with clearing it.

Ok I just beat both holograms, XY against the Sentinel and Carlotta against Fallacy. Alongside them both are double healers, Verina and Shorekeeper + food and petrol buffs, and no I am not ashamed to use item buffs.
I wanna add to btw, no fancy gaming toys involved; my PC CPU and RAM is 11 years old, GPU is 6 years old, (1660 Ti) ordinary office mouse, a temu-quality rgb keyboard, and I'm playing on just a 900p office display, not even 1080p.

I struggle on the boss solely because I cannot kill it before every single thing oneshots me, I'm close to killing him at the 5 minute mark, but man, it's fucking insane once he gets infinite stacks. Way to punish people for running subpar teams, as if the timer was not enough
I cleared it with a not done Carlotta, it took a while, and it was painful, but I did beat the fallacy lv 6 especially because of the new attacks
While Jiyan wasn't DMG powercrept looking at this gameplay it shows how Jiyan was "mobility crept"
also hope they fix the retry in this, on normal holograms they disappear 1~2sec after you cancel

diff6 was surprisingly easy for me, its possible that i've got used to it after dealing with it in the ToA, but i liked it.

Rex hits the AOE taunt and it works every time. Drive yourself to do better and master the boss fight. You have quite literally infinite time to do so. If a solo Danjin can clear it, your entire team can, get to grinding, kings.
im just glad to clear both of these at stage 3 just to get the skin for the echo, the hammer boss fucked me up the most in its 2nd phase
I did both holo bosses in the first sitting, but it took a few goes. Yeah, I had to change the team setup to deal with the faster attacks and output more damage, but no complaints about it and got the new skin reward.
Also, reading the bosses stages "features" for the fight would let you know about the damage dot that happens and you'll sit at 30% or so, HP. So you basically are 1 tap and forces you to learn his moves and dodge.

For this boss when he is flying you will most likely have to dodge his every attack. Until he uses his parry attack after he is done shooting and then take him down
Got my ass cooked for 1 hour back in January 3, 2025 when I am trying to beat these 2 hard holograms.
Fallacy is way more difficult for me than the Gargoyle. I used my Xiangli Yao team with the Shorekeeper, people really need to know the beauty of XLY's slow down time during his Liberation and Liberation-mixed-skill that is a highly underrated part of his kit that I don't see anyone talking about. If you actually master the timing in which you can dodge the boss's attacks during his slow time event you'll have good results I'm saying to you.
I have actually used Jiyan team and Camellya team at first but since Jiyan and Camellya needs to be on field for a whole 10 seconds when they need to combo is not a good thing to do during when the bosses continue their barrage. That's why I swapped to my Xiangli Yao Team and got way more easier time to combo and deal damage to the boss while dodging them properly.
Best bosses in gacha gaming, beautiful and tricky attacks, I am just disappointed how many players are *itching about them in comment section because they aren't easy (prolly they only play gacha games and never tried PGR or any Souls games)
As an Asian Region Player, myself, it's not like Rexlent is wrong about how MOST Western CCs react to this Game. He does not mind if a Western CC can clear super hard Bosses but we all can clearly see most would just flap their gums on how hard it is, and this is not even limited to Chinese Action Gacha Games but every hard Game in general (best example being FromSoft Games). For most Asians, if they're told about something they're accussed of being weak at that they could quickly improve, I dare say some would go through hell to prove someone wrong with results rather than compmaining and making excuses. Also, it's not like Rexlent hasn't struggled like the average Player before. He would spend HOURS off-stream or unrecorded getting hit by every single attack an enemy throws at him. That's how most High-Skilled Players I know get good at beating Bosses. Just get beat-up by them constantly and you will eventually know their every move.
Is hologram VI really that hard? Tbh, i finished both in 2-3 takes, s0 Camellya s0 Shore Keeper and s6 sanhua all level 90s. Maybe skill issue?

Not totally related to the video, but the highlight on earning technical points in the last Tactical, kinda helped me with facing off Fallacy. My dodges improved a bit.
I did it with verina and shorekeeper, I managed to survive and beat diff 6 thankfully. The scariest part was the whack-a-mole phase and I'm the mole.

It took me 13 minutes after unlocking Fallacy VI to solo it with Chixia. I don't agree with Rexlent about it being the hardest to date -- personally, I still think that goes to Crownless just because of how much new stuff there was to learn, but I haven't done Sentry Construct yet so maybe that one will change my mind xD

I used Xiangli Yao on the Sentinel Construct Gargoyle Hologram and his Resonance Liberation time stop helped me a lot to counter his flight mode and it's a gap closer too 😅

I did fallacy easily, both with camellya and carlotta. The other boss of averardo vault was more difficult because it has annoying animations. The most difficult and tough hologram remain inferno rider, at lvl 100 it's very tough. I use it as practice for training.

Inferno rider was harder sentry and fallacy got smacked
While I disagree that Western CCs only do drama and arent good at the game, I watch ton of smaller western CCs with under 5K subs who post amazing ToA and Hologram clears and guides on UA-cam.
But what Rexlent refers to is I believe the bigger gacha CCs who yes, he is right, are very far removed from the usual playerbase and honestly cover more drama than anything about the game itself. I dont watch any of the big CCs except Tectone (cuz he always makes me laugh), because almost all of them are super dumb, play gacha all day, do cringe gacha wars, and act like they better than their audience or others who play the same games.
I think issue comes when Rex acts like he doesnt do drama and he is above it all when that is clearly not the case, he does enough drama farming too, and is quite toxic himself
