Liz, thank you for providing so much joy with your channel. It is now my routine to wake up, have a cup of coffee and 'join' you. Your succulents are so beautiful and the joy they bring you is contagious. Thank you
Green fingers maybe... But patient, definitely not! These plants have taught me to be patient. Thanks for watching and hope they give you as much joy as they've given me.
I love your whimsy! Naturally because the Monroe is one of my favorites. And I’m a sucker for a yellow Succulent so I have the best of both worlds with your whimsy❤️ You look fabulous Liz!
I’m liking your Whimsey Liz, it looks like it’s going to be a real winner. Best of luck with your work. Your collection is so extensive and interesting 🧐🪴🥶👍😄
Thanks so much for watching Margaret. It was a struggle growing that Whimsy for the first 2 years but now it seems that all she wants to do is grow, grow, grow....
Thanks for sharing and updating on the wonderful whimsy, OMG it is absolutely marvelous. Today, 2nd of August I was outside this morning and singing in the garden. "Hello sunshine 🌞, welcome back" then singing to my plants- Hello coconut ice -I love you, Hello park's pop candy- I love you. I can only assume my neighbour's think I'm a tad odd. The singing succulent spinster- ha ha. I just love, love, love when we finally get a dose of sunshine. After bleak, cold snd wet weather. To then look at my weather app to observe the forecast. Tomorrow and Wednesday the forecast is RAIN. Not impressed, we just need a good stretch of dry weather for everything to dry out properly. Spring is just around the corner now. Happy gardening.
I m living in Sydney and it's my first winter since I started growing succies. So, I was worried about my succies getting die by cold winter. But by your few videos, my worries are just buried. (Sydney is little warmer than Canberra 😉) Thanks Liz for your sharings. I've been searching & watching ur videos since I found ur videos recently in UA-cam world😄. You are amazing~~~❤❤❤
Thanks for watching. I kept saying to myself that If only I leave in Sydney, I now would have ten times the amount of succulents. You're weather is PERFECT for growing succulents.
Thank you for sharing on Whimsy again, I am so happy that they are all growing so well! How I wish to get one of this beauty from you! They are so beautiful! 👏👏👏🥰 The spotted Romeo is so special!
Hey,Liz lovely video. I remember your video on those black and white basket trays..you had posted, putting paper first and all...babies are growing well in those.
Hi Liz, I don't know why but I don't have any luck with Agavoides. I had some lipstick and they were ok for a while and then all rotted.. I bought some Ebony and they were only small pups and they aren't doing well either... I really love the leaves of Agavoides and the size they can get ... I guess I need to read up more about them... I am getting some great results with other succulents after moving them from my front yard to my back where they get more sun. I can already see some succulents starting to come out of dormancy with spring around the corner.. I love spring :D
I really can’t understand how your plants live through freezing temperatures but mine won’t please help, do you ever get snow? Also that freckles Romeo is stunning I wish I could find some like that
Hi Crystal, It's not a take an aspirin and everything will be fine approach. It's a combination of many factors. From soil mix, acclimatization, watering, fertilizer, variety of plant, etc, etc, etc.....LOL Whoever said that growing succulents is easy got rocks in their head.

What is your favourite? Do you have one? There's so many to pick from! Im enjoying winter!
Too right Jack! Use to be really easy on my first year when they were young but now I'm pulling hairs to pick one.
I don't think you can pick one either, Jack?? I love all of Liz's babies as much I do mine!!! ❤️❤️❤️
It's a mix of Monroe and black prince, I get that it's A hybrid but not sure you bought it or made it yourself
I really can’t understand how your plants live through freezing temperatures but mine won’t please help, do you ever get snow? Also that freckles Romeo is stunning I wish I could find some like that

Sedeveria Green Rose is beautiful!! Is it a “diva” plant like the Romeo?
No it's not Carly. Tough as nails and they grow like weeds.
💜💚💛
Do succulents colour up more in winter than during summer?
Depends on the succulent. Some color in winter, some in summer. Some color in the shade and some in the sun.
