This is awesome!! I listen to your story’s every night! I’m pretty sure I listened to them all over and over every thing i could possibly find . Thank you for doing the second part so fast!! Keep the story’s coming Eddie! I could sit and listen to you for hours on end.😊❤️
This story is so precious, it made me tear up 🥺 Even though it can be dangerous to interact with Fairies, they have always been ready to help and support humans who really need it!!!
Just found your channel and it's an absolute treasure trove for this son of Ireland living in America. Helps banish the homesickness brilliantly- thanks a million for sharing these tales from home, Eddie! :-D
A pure gem, keeping a great tradition going, fair play to you Eddie certainly helping to keep us all entertained and bringing us back to our childhood memories when you were on rte, keep them coming Eddie, Thank you.
Eddie is an amazing story teller I have a few of his books and continue to add to my collection. We have spoken a few times via email and recently received a lovely letter from him, what a gentle man.I look forward to attending one of his story telling evening's here in Ireland, when the time allows it. We are lucky to have him here. I am glad those from a far get to enjoy his stories on this too
Go raibh Maith agat Eddie. What a great story that was, I could see it all happening in front of my eyes. Oh no doubt in my mind of the power that the Fairies yield. You be good to them and by gor they will be good to you but on the other side you risk Life and Limb if you cross or anger them. My Gran was a Tralee woman, agus mise Thiobraid Arann. We have a great share of Forts here and we may enter them but disturb nothing, not a stone on the ground, nor cut or damage a tree or bush. Go in with respect and you will be safe. Not sure I like being around them after dark. I hope you keep doing these podcasts , I have seen almost all other videos you have been in . I listen and love the stories and we also learn the old ways. Mise a chara ~Sean
Go raibh míle maith agat, Seanie. You might enjoy a new book that came out - The Men Who Eat Ringforts, by Sinead Mercier and Michael Holly. 'Tis a great bit of reading.
I wander, with the mansion vanishing as if it were an illusion, that perhaps them dancing in it might have just been an illusion too. Maybe there had only been the one fairy the entire time and he had seen how that man had been treated and didn't like it. So he did all that first to improve the man's self esteem, and then to gift him with that music so no one would ever think he was an awful fiddle player ever again. After all, the fairy appeared after the man had been thrown out like that. That's not likely to be a coincidence.
Go raibh mile maith agat faoin sceal sin ag insint! Is aobhinn liom do scealta agus do leabhair, agus binn athas orm go bhfuil siad a chloisteail. Is draiocht an-laidir e an ceol na Daoine Maith. Buiochas le Dia go bhfuil siad linn fos! Augus beannachtai orthu, agus beannacthai ort fein! --N
A timely reminder that a little faith and kindness can take us a very long way. Thanks Eddie for another great tale. Cheers, Kitty.
