Nice nice...you always simplify things, thanks a bunch! GOD'S Speeeeeeeed!
This is why I am a happy subscriber. You have demystified powerful Cubase features that help me with my music workflow. Cubase can follow my music performance, and you helped me to be able to achieve that.
Glad to hear it, thanks!
I love retrospective record and use it on every track when im working out a part and accidentally nail it!
Great tutorial!
Have been using this to sketch composition for a while. Also, if the the time signature is more or less the same, you might want to also try the tempo detection tool that can do this automatically for you without Timewarp.
Damn! This makes me appreciate Ableton's. It even autodetects the tempo for you so you don't need to do all this hehehe
great reminder!
Brilliant
Damn, I've been wanting to find out how to do this in Cubase forever!
There's an easier way in FL and Live, but I'm glad it's possible here as well!
Thanks Jef, very useful. How do you get the orange scrolling bar on the Cubase menu? Mine is a pale blue on Windows. Is it a setting in your operating system?
Yeah that’s just a Mac preference

Hi Jef How is your afib these days? I just had my first ablation, I really hope it worked.
Hey Steve! Thanks for the comment, I'm doing well! I had a year of intense stress after my ablation, and had to go in for a second touch-up in October as the a-fib had come back(whether or not that was related). Doing great now, and hoping this is it! Two friends of mine were good after one ablation though, that's just my situation!
Hey Jef, I can't seem to find the audio timewarp video you mentioned?
Here you go! ua-cam.com/video/Gj3wmIKzScU/v-deo.html
can you do this in logic pro?
Yes. Shift+R
