I don't know Tesla or this guy, but the question of true or false metal was answered for me when I saw Manowar for the first time, and wow, that's exactly what heavy metal is for me, the music, the guys and the flair, exactly like this and not otherwise. I could never do anything with all the others, like Twisted Sister or Kiss. It's true, once a Manowar, always a Manowar. A fan from the heart 💕 Iśta Wićapi Tećehila.

Ive still got the cuttings from the sounds music paper. I was a big fan of sister and after reading the article stating that sister had offered out manowar and manowar responded offering them a play off 2 see who was the loudest and heaviest i went out and bought my 1st manowar album. Been my no1 band since that day. Thankyou sounds!!!

I've never heard any mention of anything between TS and Manowar... this is news to me.
Alos, never heard of "Brian Wheat" either. Who is he? Does he work for Tesla (as the title suggests)...
Basically there was a supposed ‘disagreement’ between Twisted Sister, Hanoi Rocks & Manowar back in the 80s. TS challenged Manowar to an actual fight and went roaming around Covent Garden looking for Manowar but Manowar no-showed. That’s the gist of it. It’s good to hear Joey’s take on what happened.
Lots of commentors dont know who Brian Wheat is. Sad,but fair enough. He is one of the founders,with Frank Hannon,and bassist of Tesla. Basically take everything that Manowar is and presents onstage and on record and strip all of the peripherals away. The lean meat rock machine that remains is Tesla. Straight ahead,blow your doors off,no bullshit hatd rock.
