It's rare that I watch a kdrama the whole way through without losing interest but DOONA was so good! Their chemistry was soooo great and the acting was amazing love Suzy and YSJ
Bae Suzy doesn’t disappoint. But How is it rare? Kdramas usually have better quality than other American shows, in general. There’s way too many masterpiece Kdramas out there. Especially within the last 10 years. Way too many.. A lot of them are not on Netflix, yet. But even on Netflix, there’s many hidden masterpieces

@@Lfkxl I didn't say Doona was rare. I said it was rare for me to watch a kdrama start to finish without getting bored and dropping it. And the only kdrama I really consider a "masterpiece" is My Mister. I think many kdramas are good, but people hype them up a lot because the male lead is attractive or because there's less sex than Western shows. Which is fine, but kdramas are not so much above other countries shows imo.
Suzy's becoming more and more perfect in acting !! Doona is a character, I feel was made for her 🤩 I absolutely loved her performance in it. There were some parts in the drama where I felt my heart sank for Doona.. I felt like giving a big hug to her.. This was one of the best drama I've ever watched 😊

This show was fire! The actors have so much chemistry and heat. They both acted so well and you could feel the angst of their circumstances. The ending is vague but there are clues that it’s a happy ending. It made me feel bad for idols’ lives. They need normalization of relationships and be free to love. Why are koreans so toxic of idols relationships? The western world accepts relations between actors and celebrities because they’re humans after all. There is something wrong with people when they punish normal relationships such as love and happiness amongst celebrities. This show is a must see.🙌🏽🔥👏🏽❤️

DOONA was so good. I can’t explain the chemistry the actors portrayed their roles so well. I couldn’t get enough of them everything was so realistic. The end hurt so much. I know it’s how things should be but my heart just sank I wish they could’ve been together. They loved each other so endlessly. I want a season 2 man but I know it’s best to leave the story at that. This is literally Nevertheless 2.0 with Lee Doona being the female version of Park Jae-eon, all those butterflies and moves were exactly the same plus Suzy improved so much she's turning into an amazing actress, missed Yang Sejong on screen alot.
Loved it so much, the drama is perfect, exactly what I was looking for in a while. Not overly sweet, I loved Doona's character so much and the way Suzy played her made my love her from the first episode.

The ending needed a bit of explanation but it’s obvious they can’t do without each other.. It gives a Peep into the perplexities of being a pop idol and the management theirs a steep price for being a celebrity not for the faint of hearts. They beginning of ep9 shows them meeting up in Japan after Won Jun gets his civil servant job (he’s wearing same trench coat as in hotel with boss). Also, the bgm at ending scene in hotel is Doona singing her love song about Won Jun that she wants an ordinary life with him…pay attention people.

I had to revisit one of my favourites with Suzy in While we were Sleeping. Great drama with a great cast. Dream High my first Suzy drama watched brilliant first up lead role for her at only 16 years old.

I watched Doona because of Suzy but was able to finish season 1 because of YSJ. Truly the chemistry is really amazing and the fact that both portrayed the characters well is so worth it to watch. Both are great actors (salute). The only thing that made me a little bit of mad and sad is that the drama only has 9 episodes and I want more😭

I watched Doona because of Suzy but was able to finish season 1 because of YSJ. Truly the chemistry is really amazing and the fact that both portrayed the characters well is so worth it to watch. Both are great actors (salute). The only thing that made me a little bit of mad and sad is that the drama only has 9 episodes and I want more😭
I’ve never seen kissing in kdramas like the ones they did in this drama! Hot damn were those kisses wet and deep, they felt full of emotion 🥵🤭

Pessimo finale
Acabo de terminar de ver la serie. Una de las mejores de las 100 que he visto desde que empecé a seguir las series coreanas a principios de este año. Como suele ocurrir con las series coreanas, el final sigue siendo dudoso. Así que te pregunto; si te parece un final feliz o amargo. Gracias saludos deste Italia
Rieccoti Patrizia ! Gira e rigira ci si rincontra su UA-cam (qualche settimana fa per "Destined with you") per queste amate e odiate serie tv coreane. Bellissima anche questa e come dici tu con il solito finale che lascia mille dubbi. Infatti, anche stavolta non ho capito se è finita bene o male. L'attore principale sembra aver una certa affinità con i finali amari. Infatti. dopo averlo visto in "My Country" anche in questa serie l'aspetto sentimentale sembra sia andato male. Peccato! Un tuo commento mi rallegrerebbe! ciao Dario
