The Masterpiece! ⚡⚡⚡
This song is 3 minutes of pure rock.
This song needs to be longer. It's so good. I never want it to end. Dany's vocals are powerful and that ending is incredible!
Pau said that they tried to make it longer but, in the end, she said if you want it to be longer, listen to it twice!
Another track from the Queen Of The Murder Scene album. Its even better yet in context of the album.
That’s The Warning. They always leave you wanting MORE!
✌️❤️🔥
All of us think it should be longer. The girls said in one of their blogs that they know that and they tried but they couldn't make it better by making it longer.
One of my playlists includes Dust to Dust/Dull Knives/Ugh/Queen of the Murder Scene/More/Evolve all in a row. That and a cup of coffee helps get me to ready to work.
*Dull Knives Fun Facts:*
At this point . Dany usually *"plays the first note"* to get the audience involve. Plays with different sides. She started this but immediately stopped. Some type of a technical problem. Guitar tech retrived the guitar & took it back stage. Broken string?? It took several minutes to repair whatever. After 45 seconds of silence. Dany started talking to audience (Español) until guitar Tech came back with the guitar. Dany played the first note & they started the song. On the concert video The Warning released on their channel. They omitted the downtime.
*MVA Interview:*
One video had an MTV host was clueless of who The Warning was. Since the writers are on strike in Hollyweird. That interviewer had no cheat sheet for basic information of The Warning since she clearly never heard real rock in her life. You knew she was ckueless when in the middle of 5 minute (if that) interview. She asked *"Are you sisters??".* Of course Dany, Pau & Ale being who they are were nice and professional by answered the question with class.
Pau said to replay the song if you want it to be longer😊😊😊
Very nice..this song is awesome..It might be my favorite, oh wait, what was that other one? ANIMOSITY, KOOL AID KIDS, REVENANT, MARTIRIO, NARCISISTA, HUNTER, WILD FIRE.. SINISTER SMILES, I can't remember, it's one of those...TWA🤟🎶☮️
The girls tried to make this song a bit longer than three minutes but couldn't make it work to their satisfaction so left it as it was .I'm waiting for the day when they produce some 12" / extended mixes for some of their songs between 5-6 minutes would be great !
Hi There's vlogs for this album where they talk about the songs. In the lives Dani plays a intro to get the crowd going.
Dull Effing Knives! Their best song to date. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
CRUNCHY!! 🤘😎❤️⚠️
Pure in your face Rock and Roll!!!! Best Rock band in decades right here...rock on The Warning!!!! TWA!!
One of the best Rock songs ever written.
This is such a banger they all look like they love to play this song. I enjoyed the version in the cave they're a little younger but wow they kill it so much that Lzzy Hale saw it and reached out to them. The drumming at the end is crazy good in this one but in the cave they keep the camera on Pau and it's sick. Thanks for checking this out for us. 🔥🔥🔥⚡⚡
Dany’s best comp right now IMO is in fact Lzzy Hale without a doubt.
Talent recognizes talent and we already know what Lzzy thinks about Dany.
I wonder if AJ and Vickie have had the pleasure of meeting Danielo yet?
It's about time for you to check out the song, "KOOL AID KIDS", from the Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert. It has an amazing groove and there are so many aspects of this song that really stand out.
🤘🇲🇽🤘🇲🇽🤘🇲🇽 Viva The Warning!!! (pocos minutos pero contundentes!!)
Ale🎸🎤 Pau🥁🎤 Dany🎤🎸 three mexican sisters !!!🎵ole ole ole ole Warning Warning🎵¡¡¡ Greetings from Argentina
Killer tune definitely wished it was longer I think they said they tried to make it longer but it lost its impact so they left it alone
❤❤❤
DULL F'N KNIVES!!!! 🤘🔪🔪😍🔪🔪🤘
They know it's a short song. They said they tried everything but nothing worked so they left it the way it was. They said if you think it's too short then play it over and over again. So I do.😃
Dull Knives tres minutos de verdadero rock,The Warning y sus excelentes temas
Again, Ale's bass is what moves the song (yes, Pau's drum should not be overseen) but really, this is an Ale and Dany interaction. Lzzi Hale from Halestorm decided after seeing The Warning performing this song in the Warning cave that they should tour with her band. She gave Dany her white Explorer (used amongst other in "Enter Sandman" ever since)
not "her" Explorer as in Lzzy's... Lzzy had a custom one built that she got specifically for Dany... she wanted Dany to have one of her own which is why she didn't give Dany one of her signature ones...
@@WaldoKitty, thanks for clearing that up for yet another supposed fan who, after almost TWO YEARS, doesn't know what actually happened! I don't know how! As you obviously know, there are a few Lzzy interviews on UA-cam where she specifically explained what happened! I hate when these "fans" pass on misinformation; especially to somewhat new reactors. It just keeps the wrong information going. It's REALLY annoying.
Put in ordinary drumming & Dull Knives would sound really dull to say the least.
We all have our opinions & interpretations.
Love the reaction they are wonderful
My only "complaint" about The Warning is I wish their songs were longer.
Also this...

While I understand that what a band is saying through a song isn't your priority, I am still pasting the lyrics below just in case metaphorical poetry means something to you. This song is part of their concept album, Queen of the Murder Scene. Here the Queen, the protagonist cum antagonist, is contemplating suicide as she realizes that she is losing control gradually. Dull Knives or knives that are blunt will make it a bloody sordid affair. I still try to wrap my head around the fact that in 2017-18 a 15 year old girl going through her emo phase in middle school wrote this album edited by her 17 year old elder sister & 12 year old younger sister.
The rush that's in my veins, I can't control it
Tell me why
This voice that's in my head is getting stronger
Tell me how
The aching in my bones is taking over
Tell me why
My blood ain't spilling red I'm freaking out!
Feeling for nothing at all!
'Cause I found out dull knives cut better
Choke on all my scarlet letters
Don't know what I'm feeling anymore
Needles piercing through my brain
Slowly inflicting the pain
I'm plucking roses but keeping the thorns!
The truth sinks deeper slipping through my fingers
Tell me why
Pain's ripping up my skin, can't take it back now
Tell me how
Am I supposed to understand? oh help me
Tell me why
I hate to live like this, can't save me now!
Feeling for nothing at all!
I found out dull knives cut better
Choke on all my scarlet letters
Don't know what I'm feeling anymore
Needles piercing through my brain
Slowly increasing the pain
I'm plucking roses but keeping the thorns!
We've heard poets cautioning us about thorns when discussing roses. But "keeping the thorns" after plucking roses is another level of darkness. I mean how desperate can a person be to do that? How dark is Pau's brain?
Paulina Villarreal - I keep thinking of Edgar Allen Poe & Amadeus Mozart . She's that extraordinary.
The Warning & Dorothy will be debuting at Shiprocked 2024. Received a notification that you had reacted to Dorothy a while back.
I really miss that the girls no longer include Dull Knives and Dust to Dust in their opening performances. 😔
Those are two very powerful songs! 🤘🤩
I don’t think they will ever be dropped from their headlining shows though.
@@ryankieth1675
No, but they practically don't include both songs in their opening acts, or at festivals.
Those songs were essential before! 😕
@@Nxort they still play them at festivals. I’ve been to a few where they played them.
@@Nxort I can’t remember all of them. I know for a fact they played D2D at Rockville the first time they were there and I recorded it. By the way, it was also on their set list when they opened for Halestorm. I saw it personally, but didn’t record that one. I recorded the full set at Louder Than Life and they played Dull Knives there. If they have more than a thirty minute window they usually throw in an older song. As they gain more popularity at festivals they will play longer sets, so there will always be room for the classics.
Ale's bass is pure Powerful
If you are going to compare Dany to anybody I would say Lizzy Hale without the high heels.
Locura!!!
I don't know who's writing these songs, but dammm! And that girl Buries Lita Ford all day long 😎🤟
Looks like im watching the video through a mirror. Everything is backwards
🤘🤘
"It's over?"...everyone's response :)
Was that a dig at me???😅😂😂😅 telling stories is my specialty especially when they're true and make you uncomfortable 😅😅😅
I’m not sure if you are aware of this but the last few videos I’ve seen of yours everything is backwards so it looks like Dany and Ale are playing left handed
yeah... no need for that with videos from the TW YT channel... they are very reactor friendly 😹
IMHO she's better than Lzzy...😮
Vocally or guitar-wise? I'd say, vocally definitely no; at least not YET. But, guitar-wise? I'd say, yes and Lzzy would probably agree with that! 😁
@@gregoryvlchek269 definitely guitar wise. Lzzy has a few more tricks in the bag vocally, but she also has at least 25 years on Dany in the business (or maybe 15-20?) I'm not sure. What's cool though is that they are friends and I'm pretty sure they have each other's numbers and can call at will. 🤟❤️
@@vjordan1709 And Lizzy a great friend to Amy Lee. My first concert after the lockdown was Plush/Halestorm/Evanescence. Kicked butt. A collar between all three would be so sweet.
All of your reactions show the video's in reverse we see the girls playing their instruments using their left hands the please correct this!!!!
Sorry. If you can't or won't make an effort to set your reactions properly, like you used to, I will bow out now.
Thanks for playing, Randy, and bumping the Algorithm! 👍 (Gawwd, "Randy" . . that's my ex-husband's name 🤦♀️)
The ladies tried different ways to make the song longer but weren’t happy with any of them. In the end they recommend you listen to it twice.
