Nice review! I think these darts look cool but I was always very skeptical of the super aggressive grip. Also I can understand why you said they don’t feel round due to all the horizontal milling. I have a set of darts with horizontal milling and they also feel squared off to me instead of round. I found out I didn’t care for that feel myself.
Worldwide; really informative review. Not all reviews are going to be positive; that grip is way too grippy for me. BTW, I just received my set of the Red Dragon Peter Wright Supra-Venom 23g darts. I changed out the points to the Red Dragon Raptor GT black points and went with an L-Style X-tra short black stem coupled with an L-Style Teardrop flight. That set up suits my throwing style (if I had one that is). Thanks and keep the reviews rolling
Cheers Mike. I tried to make the best of it considering this was an awkward set of darts. Nice to hear you picked up a set of the Supa's. It's a wild set of darts for sure. Keep me posted on how you're liking them after a month or so
To grippy for me and the grip look awkward it remains me of the mission reiki that’s also a strange dart to throw but not that grippy. Good review as always
Since you "only" classified the Harrows Fire Inferno with a grip level of 4.3, which darts would you then classify with a grip level 5?? Great review as always :D
The most grippy dart I've ever thrown was the KOTO Kingrex. It was like holding miniature razor blades.
I have these and love them. Curious if you were just having an off night when filming this you said yourself that you didn't feel like filming that night have you ever gone back to trying these darts to see if it was just an off night? Any recommendations on a new point for them
this was 1 of my first sets of darts i bought and i did like them for the same reason you dont :) they have a massive grip wich is like my main reason for buying a pair so
The grip was okay. I can get used to a grippy dart but it was the shape that really put me off. They felt oddly not round to me
So, I really like the looks of these darts, and things end THERE, i love grippy darts but those cuts all kinda random, so the grip qould never be consinstent, cool collection dart, but would never use them, i considered to gift them to a friend because of the colors, i went for the way more reliable and cheaper cullen darts, and I don't regret it
That's how I feel. I think they look kinda cool and obviously the machining was spot on but that's it. They felt clunky to throw. Just horrid. And I say that as someone that has thrown a lot of unusual darts. These rate right up with the worst darts I've ever thrown
As someone who has the nickname “Inferno” I’m sure you’d agree with me that the older Red Dragon Inferno darts where a nicer dart to throw
MUCH nicer! Funny story about those darts. Red Dragon sent them to me back in 2015 when I had something like 4000-5000 subscribers. It was my first set of gifted darts ever.
Do understand your point on the darts but to be honest i would love to get some .but that will be inpossible for me with our bad currency.
Other than looks and the perfect machining most of the positives end there. Awkward darts to throw
Just want to ask, do you think Dimi will sign with Harrows since he already ended his contract with Unicorn?
I think target because target have said there was an announcement coming soon
My best guess is Nodor. So he will either be with Red Dragon or Winmau. I say that because they were just selling off 1000's of backstock darts and I believe they were doing that to drum up some cash to sign someone big.
It’s almost certain to be Target. Their chairman recently said they were announcing the signing of a top player in September. Their launch is next Wednesday, so we won’t have long to wait!
I have these 25 gr there fine
Hi which darts would you recommend for a rear gripper 20g 21g
MvG is a rear gripper. What about these? www.dartshopper.com/xqmax-wc-originals-90.html
Cheers getting back. I do like mvg"s good price as well I will have a look Cheers mate. Keep up the great reviews enjoy watching all the way from little England
What do you think of the john o' shea dart set?
@@WorldwideDarts I also looked at the dart sets you suggested before. I'm more undecided :) John O'Shea darts are also nice, Performance Elite looks nice, Harrows V Wings is also a different set. If it were you, which one would you choose? The price of the performance set is very reasonable. I don't want it to escape from my hand, especially when I throw it for a long time, my hands get a little moist, maybe I'm stressed. Then I have to squeeze the dart harder. Frankly, I don't want to experience this. I'm also thinking of buying unicorn volute dart points. What do you think about this point? Especially to close the gap on the lips. Is 36mm enough or would a longer point like 39mm be more appropriate?
Performance Elite are going to be grippy. Not a fan of the other two sets. For points I'd just go with a basic Target point. I just read that someone had a hard time repointing the Volute points.
What would be your suggestion? Can you recommend a set or sets that are price-performance oriented and will not lose the grip feeling in long-term games?@@WorldwideDarts
you can always send them to me 😉
Harrows Marketing Dept.: “Let’s see if we can outdo Shot darts with these barrels!” Rest of the world: “Nooooooooooo!” I can’t imagine that Harrows is going to continue this barrel for very long. It looks like a porcupine.
its true harrows and shot seem to be the 2 brands that deliver the most grippy darts out there and therefore my 2 fav brands with shot taking the lead
Now there is an idea. A dart company making a barrel with hundreds of needle points down the shaft. Call it the Super Duper Extreme Grip. Some asshole would buy them.
If I ever want an overpriced razor blade I'll order these 😁
Must be like throwing a rip saw.
What a shame this review. These are one of the best darts in the market. They are on my personal 3rd place of all darts I've ever played with. Grip is amazing, you don't have to push on dart at all. You just move your hand and they fly. I hit so many 180s with these darts. My personal score for these is 9,5/10. Only one disadvantage is that you broke your flights sooner than with some other darts because of the grip.
@@WorldwideDarts I am not alone 😅 Look at comment section in darts stores. It's amazing how some people have different opinions about them 😂
I dislike those things even more than the Paragons they made before these
Those darts r old news
Send them to me and let me try them out 😉
Dont like them
I've got a set of these. Absolutely love them. One of the best sets of darts I have thrown.
Really?
Me too.....i love a grippy dart....the shot ones last a month at best before the grip wears smooth.....these are still hurting my fingers after a couple of months.....i got the 23g set.....they are great
