Sound interesting to try one, most of the festive ales that I've tried over the years have been to sweet and full of clove flavors. I had one once that was cinnamon and orange flavors and dry finish and very well made, but I can't remember the name other than it was Norwegian.

Yah any holiday beer seems to be hit and miss!
