(Part 1) (Anne Rice would be proud?) at the end she reads the article that she is supposed to write and she realises that she wasn’t dreaming… it really happened. Watch her face and the intake of breath and exhalation after she realises… what will she write…
I have been waiting for this for a long time. The MM is absolutely epic... and it's the cleverest thing I have ever seen Dimash do...
Incredible production value, incredible acting from the leads, so many call-backs to great moments in both cinema and music, set design, iconic images it’s just perfection.
And the song (R&B Power Rock ballad with a killer rock guitar solo, a singular tasteful high note, that dark tone and growl on "Man in a man's world") Wow... Just perfect…
But most important is that for said for 6 odd years we have been talking endlessly about Dimash's technical prowess, range, dynamics, control, transitions, jumps, staccati, melismas, we've been praising his prowess (rightly so) whilst bewailing the fact that he isn't more widely known.
But after watching reactions to this all night the absolutely amazing thing that I have seen is reactors NOT doing the usual but instead simply rocking on because that's the power of the "hook"
So I am donning a smile bigger than a Cheshire cat and thinking; well he's conquered Asia and Europe and now he's coming for the rest of the West and he's going to get it too. Coz he's armed with the right ammo now to hunt in these woods.

Dimash more mature than ever, from eastern vocalisations, to 70's guitar solos. Lyrics are a bit simple but the whole project is a step up to global stage.
Yea the lyrics are just typical love song, but it seems like he wanted to package his music like Korean pop to go viral in pop music industry, but I would still support this strategy, it’s a waste to his voice if he is not promoted globally

The first song we hear on this video is a song called 'The Flower Duet' from an opera: ' Lakmé '. It came out in 1883. It IS the original singers doing this here. Dimash is good at everything! I would have liked to have been in the same room when he composed this song, and came up with the story for this video!

Anyone who watched the video, made by a fan with his cell phone, of Dimash's show in Hong Kong, had the pleasure of a first contact with the song “When I've Got You” and realized, in Dimash's own music and in the lyrics by Candice Kelly and Dmytro Gordon, a romantic, seductive and passionate song sung with Dimash's own virtuosity. There was tension and anxiety in being able to watch the studio version with better sound quality...
Now, with the release of this music video, we realize how creative Dimash is:
A suspense video with a “noir” atmosphere, but without being located in the past, and a tale of passion about a supernatural creature who feels alone and needs to fulfill his passion for a mortal woman who suffers for wanting and not wanting turn her into one of his supernatural creatures.
Iskander Yerbolat's plot intrigues us to solve the mystery of the entire tale being a dream of a journalist who interviews “DQ”, or being a reality where the “vampire” did not bite his “prey” out of love! Intriguing...
The video is a show in itself: Desaturated with vivid red details (umbrella, blood in the hands, blood in the pool, advertising sign, neon on the mirror...), a classic Rolls Royce, a gloomy and modern mansion and lots of details.
As background music, he uses the work “Flower Duet” (Lakimé) by Léo Delibes. To create an old and suspenseful atmosphere, he does not use the 1968 edition and recording, by Joan Sutherland and Jane Berbié, but rather the original version from 1915, sung by Alexandrovna Mikhailova and Ivanovna Panina, recorded with a gramophone!
The music video is a story that pays homage to several classic dramas involving supernatural creatures and passion! The impeccable editing with precise cuts that complete the script, simple and extremely efficient effects and masterful performances: Dimash (the seductive and tormented vampire, Polina Guzieva (the passionate journalist), Manuel de Jesús Sánchez Sotolongo (the sinister butler) and the harem of soulless vampires (Angelin Sapozhnikova, Valeriya Lyasheva, Andreana Tkachenko, Maria Aristatarkhova, Lilia Kiser and Klinnyushina Alina), superb!
The music is a show in itself: a mix of Blue, Scat, Jazz, R&B, Rock... Captivating variations: a bridge to the chorus full of strength and seduction and a beautiful chorus inspired by classic rock and dexterity and Dimash's agility! In addition to the well-placed guitar solo performed by Abik Jeksen!
The video captures and captivates from the beginning to the sign, which we let pass while still mesmerized by the “spell” of the vampire who can break the fourth wall!

I’ve watched this a few times since it dropped this morning and the sultry and seductive voice of Dimash reminded me of the first time I heard Dimash perform Be with Me during the 2021 Digital Concert. An American, I grew up in Kazakhstan, my sister and several friends went to uni with him, my brothers with Mansur and Raushan, our parents are friends. My Dad is a petroleum engineer and worked as a consultant in their newly burgeoning oil industry. I have been amazed over the years at the number of poseurs who seem to enjoy a certain status in positing their association with him from hairdressers to cab drivers etc al. They did hire an American firm after hiring a strategic planning firm some years ago to map his career plan to include all areas of his life. No attorney working for that firm would ever speak openly about him, the firm signing non disclosures about him, anything and everything, no discussion period, much less that. The firm works on contracts for product, merchandise, video and media sold/ shown in the US market among other associated vehicles. They have a legal department in their production company and ALL legal matters such as copyright law are handled in house only, on occasion they farm small legal situations such as merchandising product out to firms chosen in their strategic planning in a country they merchandise in. I wouldn't even ask someone there a question about this because they'd laugh ! 🤣

I checked two times with big screen 😂🙈, but I couldn`t see any ... for me it looked more like the raindrops on the outside of the car window 💧💦🤷♀ I think if she had been bitten, then in the scene, back in the car, they would have shown her absentmindedly grabbing her neck to realize that it wasn't just a dream....😱😵💫 Just my opinion ... now we have to ask HER . 😆😉

That butler is the first clue that things are going to get a lot darker. Dimash's character in this is beautifully menacing., and the actress displays fear and tension perfectly. This video and the vocals do not disappoint, that's for sure.
He did a little growl here and there earlier ☺️ for example in Omir (recommendation for that one too!)
