Cheers to you in Sweden. I am from Budapest. I bought this laptop two days ago, and it will arrive this coming week. I have a Samsung laptop I like a lot, and hoping I will like this one too. I only read the news and watch movies. Your review gave me peace of mind to believe, I bought a good one. Thank you for putting this video together. Life is good, and you made my evening. It was fun watching your video. 🎈🎈👍👍
Thank you, sir. I just ordered one of these and your video gives me peace of mind. I appreciate that you have no buyer's remorse. This is very reassuring to me.
Thanks for your video. I'm interested in this laptop as well, I think those Snapdragon laptops and ARM versions are very cool. I saw a youtuber installing Lightroom Classic (with Intel support apparently) working on this laptop. Apparently it works (and you get a popup saying they are developpin the Arm version.
Thanks! I've seen that (at least with Premiere Pro) you can copy the program folder from an Intel based computer and then run the exe file on the ARM based computer. Not with the latest version but with the 2023 version. Perhaps I can try that with Lightroom classic... Hmmm... 🙂
What a nice and relaxing video. Thank you. Our family is in the Galaxy eco system. However, we are open to all brands that don’t force you to stay within their eco system. I purchased the Surface Pro 11 to replace my Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 15.6”. But I am going to switch to the Galaxy Book4 Edge now although I must admit that Surface Pro 11 is fantastic on its own (my 4rd Surface tablet already). The main reasons are: the display of the Galaxy Book2 is already from another “Galaxy”, and many reviewers have confirmed that the Book4 Edge’s screen is as good and on top is anti-reflective, similar to that of S24 Ultra. And the other even more important reason is the lack of a good “Multi-control” replacement (GlideX is awfully slow, Across does not run, …). I am sure I am going to miss the Surface Pro’s speakers though. I have two questions if I may: you have the 14” version. Does the keyboard get hot under heavy load (I consider Capcut or Teams sessions as heavy load) as the intel-based Galaxy Books do? And can you confirm the display to be less reflective than your Book3 when sitting outside? Thank you.
THANKS 😀The Surface lineup is pretty good! If I had the money, I would like to try their 16 inch ARM based laptop with 1TB storage and 32GB RAM. But I'm not made of money, so... 😛 But... The keyboard on mine 14 inch does not get hot during my Capcut sessions. The only time the laptop gets hot is when I export a video from Capcut. And today it's raining cats and dogs, but I did a quck test with a lamp and both screens set to 100% brightness. The Book3 Pro is a bit more reflective then the Bok4 Edge so I would say the winner is the latter.
@@mattiasanderssonSWE thank you a lot for putting so much effort for testing the reflection. I highly appreciate it. I will most probably go for the 14" model, too.
You should get a bit more battery, I guess 😐You could try, if you haven't already, enter the Windows insider program (found under Windows update) and then choose Release preview. Think I got a bit better battery life after some windows updates...
I believe of all the Snapdragon X laptops, this one gets the lowest battery life. I see Surface, HP and Lenovo variants getting amazing battery life in comparison.
There is a much cheaper 15.6 model on Samsung website that has the X Plus processor I was wondering what exactly is the difference between 15.6 and 16 inch models
I don't know the exact difference between these models, but it looks like the 15,6 inch model has a lower resolution, is a little bit heavier and is a little bit slower. But it is also almost half the price so...
Thanks! And nope, the "old" pros and cons are the ones I've found 🙂 Before you buy, just make sure that if you have any intel based "must-have-apps" either runs well in Prism or if there is an arm based version.
@@mattiasanderssonSWE I just got it installed after your reply. Thank you. I was anticipating errors because of the ARM processor. But it worked seamlessly.
If you have any questions, you know what to do 🙂

On the Book4 Edge 16, I go through about 15% battery in an hour. So battery life is usually only 7 hours, much less than I expected.

Does your SmartThings find Location tracking work? I don't see an option for locating my Book 4 Edge on SmartThings
Nope, seems to be missing for me as well 😐Hmmm...
You can use the Microsoft version instead though....
Good day dear Matias. Can you install and play sims 4 on it ? I can pay you some money for it -30-50 usd to see if it is working fine on this laptop.
I'll see what I can do 🙂
Have you installed a printer on this laptop?
Yes, I have an older LaserJet Pro from HP that got installed automatically...
