TRANSLATION BELOW:
A night without a lover, my sadness subsides
A sense of freedom becomes a breeze which brushes by my side
A night without a lover is only half as fun
The neon lights I look at from the highway looks brighter then usual
I'll get off my car, walk in the city, maybe watch a movie
To occupy my time, to forget I'm alone, but realize you're not at my side
A night without a lover
I soon realize that I'm looking for you
But it's strange that the happiness hasn't completely faded
I'll melt away into the crowd
To occupy my time, to forget I'm alone, but realize you're not at my side
A night without a lover
I soon realize that I'm looking for you

One of the most underrated games on the SNES. What a great ending theme..
Not just an ending theme, this also played when you helped a bard in the castle stage (magrid castle?).
I remember getting shivers as a kid when this started playing there. I also remember there was a girl in audience saying something like, "It's interesting how this song can either sound sad or happy depending on your mood", so true!
yep, we needed to find the rope in the basement :)
If I could imagine of a Quintet trilogy animé, this would be the credits theme.
Quintet trilogy is the only game with four games in it.
@@Kuikkamies How to break a brain:
Game trilogy being the game with four games.
So it's a game that is a trilogy and also is made from four gams.
@@KeyleeTamirian 4 games? I thought it was Actraiser, Actraiser 2, Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, and Terranigma. Making it a Quintet
@@uberfreak2 Ah, yes.
@@uberfreak2 and robotrek
My favourite game on the SNES. This game was (and still is) so different. Even though Illusion of Gaia made me a happy lil' kiddo back then, no other game had that impact Soul Blazer gave to me. The game just feels so profound if you know what I mean. I'm still hoping they'll make a true sequel to the title. But it's been so many years now... T-T
We first need Quintet up and running again, back in bussiness. Wonder where are Quintet devs now...
The most charming and one of the most mysteriously atmospheric games in existence. Phantasy Star 2 and Final Fantasy 4 and 6, Secret of Mana, etc. are grander but there is a similar feeling of how amazing it would be to be in that world.
@@ThePallidor "and one of the most mysteriously atmospheric games in existence". I totally agree with that statement!
This is _significantly_ different from the in-game version. But just as good.
HOW CAN I BELIEVE IN LOVE(1984)
Soul Blader
I had no idea there was a version with lyrics. Pretty good.
I've been looking everywhere for this! Thank you for posting the lyrics too!
WTF, that's definietely not in the GAME.
Where's that from?
美しい
I never realised before but the chorus is very similar to Godiego's "How Can I Believe in Love", also written by Yukihide Takekawa!
Kinda weird to think about Lisa singing this.
Awesome.
The two people who downvoted are deaf.
Can someone explain the origin of this song? I love it and know it well from Soul Blazer. Was this produced by quintet/enix as a way to advertise the game? I love learning about game music.
This is a great idea for a chanel!! Nice
Miss this game so hard T_T
I'm dissapointed that the lyrics have nothing to do with the relationship between the avatar and lisa. It just sounds like the ending theme lyrics for a japanese soap opera.
Well obviously, because it's a song that a Bard in Magridd castle composed for his girlfriend. It has no relation to Avatar and Lisa.
@@KeyleeTamirian The Bard actually said he wrote this for Lisa because she helped him when he was injured and fell in love.
Lyrics mention a car and watching movies and neon lights which is weird considering the setting. Then again, it is not like he actually says any lyrics in-game.
