If I'm not mistaken, Raiko is the first boss EVER in all touhou games who possesses danmaku's shooting sound that are melodies / rhythms.... Would be OMG-ly awesome if anyone could time and synchronize those shooting sound with the drum-solo BGM.

Last spell of her is like Gengetsus first attack pattern so it felt easy.....till the moment she unleashed hell and killed me. almost got her >_< thanks for some examples to dodge some spells (I always used brute force at the first one and lost a life^^)

Good run Raak, just managed a clear of this myself about a day ago, I thought it was a pretty good stage overall except for that last midboss spell, which oddly enough is completely different in spell practice. ... I beat her ... on my first try. SOMEHOW. Mainly because of Reimu A even if I prefer Reimu B. Granted I've been playing Touhou for almost two years now, but this would be the second bonus boss I've beaten, the first being Mamizou. I can get pretty close to beating Flandre, but my game is running at 86 fps for some reason and ROYAL FLARE usually eats one of my lives. But yeah, this bonus boss was fun~
I figured that after playing this one or two more times (this is my first successful attempt) Anyway, that is in theory. In practice you'll be moving dodging everything else that regardless you still have to be ready to sidestep

Not quite. Mamizou and Raiko are HIGHLY resistant to bombs, but they do receive a minuscule amount of damage from them. Not enough to make a difference most of the time, but it's still there. Or at least Mamizou does, since the test was done with her.
I've found this game to a at least as hard, if not harder, than 12 & 13, which themselves I've found harder than the other ones for Windows. I've yet to get a 1cc on easy with DDC, while I can usually do so with the others or at least come close. Ironically, 12 is the only one I've gotten to and beaten the Extra stage because my old laptop ran the game slower than normal.
That's what spell practice is for. Personally, I think that Raiko is the easiest extra boss. There are multiple chances to get life and bomb fragments. There are only a few spell cards that I can die in. But I use Sakuya A, so I guess it's much harder with the other characters.
+IA VOCALOID My ultimate goal is to beat her with Sakuya B. Though, it's kind of a lofty goal, since I haven't beaten the extra stage with *anyone* yet. Or, for that matter, even unlocked it for Sakuya B...
