Pro Drive Outboard Demonstrating Full Power Reverse

I purposely stuck my 1542 war eagle aluminum boat with a 27hp Pro Drive mud motor to test out the Full Power Reverse. This video was taken in the marsh of Southeastern LA.

Some of y'all are plain ignorant....if u notice I went forward about 30ft...u can notice the trail of mud behind the motor before I start to go in reverse...I sped up the video so that u didn't have to see that....the purpose of the video is to "demonstrate the full power REVERSE!!"

Im a prodrive owner myself and love it. I love gator tail too. Only had this which is my first mud motor so still learning how to get the most use out of it. Keep the videos up bro. I need to get a GOPRO. Lol

@Brady - "bc it a points less" ????? - whatever that means....... I agree with your comment to a certain degree, since I previously owned a gatortail. The one problem is gatortail can't get out of the places prodrive can. There is no matching the reverse power of the prodrive. Not even an idiot would argue that point.

I owned a Prodrive for six years and have just switched to a gator tail , you right no comparison in fpr, a Prodrive can no dig when u need it to in mud where my gator tail will , Prodrive foots hangs up on everything , I must o been cleaning foot out every 30 sec frogging in heavy grass where my gator just glides over it

All I can say is probably too heavy of a boat or poor operator.....the main thing with mud boats that are built today is that they are too damn heavy....I only have a 27hp and I have yet to get stuck in my war eagle even with 3 grown men 1 kid 1 dog and hunting gear.....I have had to pull out my buddy's 18' gator trax with a 35hp several times due to the casing that houses the belt....that is the major flaw with gator tails and mud buddy's....but hey if it works for you keep at it

I found the perfect boat to match this motor and it’s indestructible. It only weighs 800lbs. Going to do the setup and post it and make some money with all the views I’ll be getting.😂

Hopped up engine does not improve the drive angle .. How old are you kingderper 5 ?? Sounds like you do nt know much about mud motors

That what I used to run for 6 years got stuck on time prop hit something hard broke and messed up all gears in process. Repair cost was 1300 brand new lower unit 1500 so I got a new one and sold it , best choice I made , different ppl like different things operator was good his boat was stage one that, prodrive s simply can not dig good in straight mud where gator tail can
