And with the game its genuinely pretty decent im just a cynical sarcastic picky guy, its just for the funnys. did you ended up doing it with client side authority? I got that working perfectly but the collisions between players were very laggy and I was NOT doing Client-side prediction
i honestly couldn't tell you that was the plan... but like i think the teleporting was done on the Host and even then i had to make the host own the player first, and then transfer ownership back its super confusing, and hopefully easier with the newer unity versions
@@LemonMaster66 I did the teleporting by adding a client RCP in the player script with the desired position and the player id as parameters, then you check if the one running the rpc is the client with that id you passed, and if it is you just this.transform.position = desiredPosition But my game had cars and the collisions were horrible even at low speeds, I don't know how your collision were so good
