You seem to have the makings of a great 3D technical artist! I have to ask, what is your lineart method, specifically on the character near the three minute mark? It seems very clean and not jittery.
Thank you so much! For that character specifically (he's fanart of a character who belongs to Luyeshin) I experimented with and combined a few different methods trying to avoid the jittery lineart that often showed up when using Blender's default lineart. I am not using the lineart modifier at all. Some of the lineart I hand-painted onto his texture, mostly the lines between his various markings. I also modified a cube using geometry nodes to act as lineart - it functions similar to the lineart modifier, but I have a lot more control over it. Check out the tutorial "Another Way to do Line Art in Blender" by Tradigital, that's where I got the idea! I'm also testing using Freestyle outlines (which aren't visible in this video since they only show up in the final render) to fill in the spots that the lineart misses when using the geometry nodes. I'm still experimenting with this technique, it's my first time using it and it took a lot of trial and error to get it to look the way that I wanted. I'm still not fully satisfied with it but I've learned a lot. I'm hoping to make a video breaking down this technique once I finish the rig for this character!
Good work man keep going hard
Nice Work Let's Keep it up 💪🏻
Holy shit that's so much work! Good job! The lizard and the spider were my favourite hihi. Loved cat George and Dream too :D
Thank you so much!! I'm happy with the lizard, it was very cute :)
