Just repaired my sun roof on my 2015 sorento mk3. Opened okay, but slow on closing and because it struggled it reopened again and in most cases I had to force the closing by hand. Purchased a pair of these runner brackes, lubricated with silicone grease, now works a treat ....just with I had repaired sooner !!

Curtain and glass have separate motors , check it out

I wouldn't even buy a kia with pano roof issue, trust me it's not going to be a cheap repair.
Silicone lubricant is a better choice
