What happened to the claim that certain groups of Akans emerged from a hole in the ground somewhere in Akanland and that other groups emerged from a river? Ghanaians . Most of the so call historians don't know anything about Ghana . Confused people .How come every tribe in Ghana claim to have come from unknown place. Some from the sea , rocks mountains and other countries. Note . Every chief in Ghana talk about how his ancestors fought in an unknown war . Its time you guys stop the comedy . We are 21st century of technology. Anybody who don't know where he/she is from should please go in for DNA Search.

The answer to that question begins with the groups that actually make the claim as being Israelites themselves.
And not just by some street corner talk. But through the information provided by their cultural custodians, customary gatekeepers, spiritual leadership and chieftancy.
For example, if a group is now claiming to be Hebrews, then the aforementioned entities need to answer how long they have been aware of same and why any group is still practicing anything contrary to the Hebrew culture. Like why an Israelite would be eating a diet that is against Leviticus…..or why there would be anything that is not consistent with Torah.
