I'm slightly disappointed that almost all Rare Beauty Reviews failed to mention the fact that these products are VEGAN, CRUELTY FREE, PARABEN FREE AND NON-COMEDOGENIC. It is beauty with care for its consumers.
And it’s packaging is made to be easier for people with arthritis and they plan to donate 100 million to mental health charities over the next 10 years. Cares and wants to make a difference! Great brand!
On the side note tho. Non-comedogenic doesnt really mean anything. Its just a marketing term.

Some facts about Rare Beauty ❣️:
- the packaging of the foundation/concealer has a ball on the top to help people with arthritis (since Selena struggles with that bc of Lupus)
- the packaging is eco-friendly
- the brand is vegan and cruelty free
- the brand goal is to donate 100 MILLION dollars to mental illness foundations in the next 10 years

Honestly most of us all rolled our eyes when we heard about the makeup brand or at least didn’t really think much of it.

Kuku BellaI don’t think she was holding it wrong I think her eyeliner pen was defective because I’ve seen a lot of reviews and none have had problems with it. So I think her pen is defective and that’s why is not wanting to apply.

the eyeliner is like a calligraphy pen. you're supposed to hold it in a bit different way, not like the way she held it lol.

This happend to me with the fenty eyeliner. Mine sucks, get dry so fast and never worked like the I saw on reviews. Just bad luck sadly u.u
I watched another video where they just didn’t shake it and once they shook the eyeliner it glided on perfectly!
I know people are mad that she released makeup because it seems like everyone is doing it but i can tell that she actually put love into this line and it isn’t a cash grab, especially with the mental health mission. In 2013, she mentioned wanting to do a makeup line so it’s not like it came out of nowhere. The price point is also really good, the products are cheaper than a lot of the things at Sephora and I love that she didn’t use the fact that they are donating a percent of the proceeds an excuse to overprice everything. A lot of celebrity lines are really expensive but she kept accessibility in mind, especially with the fact that she made the packaging arthritis friendly by having the cap be sphere shaped because you can open it with your palms instead of your fingers.

Pau Dlb yeah. I feel like there’s a reason it was made. With how oversaturated the makeup industry is, it can be overwhelming, but when the products actually have a purpose. It makes it easier.

I definitely wasn’t excited about this launch but seeing it all like this I actually think it looks like my cup of tea for makeup.

Niña Santos lol you’re wrong. I love rare beauty and bought most of the collection. I literally did see two that had leaky eyeliners. Julia Adams was one I think and I can’t remember the other one, maybe Kathleen Lights it was. I’ve seen tons of reviews.
Also, editing Rachel should have her moment of glory, you should make a video where she gives voiceover(writes) your GRWM!

You got a dry liner. It shouldn't have had that much trouble coming out. Mine easily applies, I dont like how thick the brush is, im a thin liquid liner brush gal but the formula is great and easy to apply regardless of the size
I have the foundation, primer, and blush. So far, I am loving all of these products. I am 60, and have super oily skin. I loathe primers. They have never worked for me. I am totally blown away by this primer and foundation combo. My oily skin literally eats makeup. For the past 2 days, have worn all for 9+ hours, and it still looks great! I was a little wary of the liquid blush, but I just need a teeny dot, blends awesome. (I have heard that you have to bang on the blotting puff at first to get the product into the puff, then it is primed and ready to use). Next to try, definitely the lip products. Love your demo on those.
Thanks for the review for oily skin! I've seen reviews from a lot of dry skinned UA-camrs that love the foundation, so I thought my normal leaning oily skin might not work with the product! I'll be picking it up!
I love that you always wear the makeup throughout the day and then tell us the final results right after instead of saying something like "check my Instagram to see if I liked it" or "I will update you guys on later on how it wears" like some other UA-camrs do and then they never do...

This is why you watch multiple reviews came from Kathleenlights and her eyeliner application looked so smooth and easy she was so impressed. While Rachel had the opposite experience with that same eyeliner. I think maybe this eyeliner dried up cause most people says it’s good and inky.

Honest question: Why do companies make a bunch of “warm blonde” or “warm brown” eyeshadow pencils? I don’t know anyone who likes that “eyebrows on fire” look. Apologies to anyone who likes that.
They do have a cool brown and cool blonde but only sent the warm

Loved this! I would really like to try the blushes and lip mousse things. That lip colour was just exquisite!
I like that proceeds go towards mental illness bc my daughter who is 10 suffers from PTSD, DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY and has attempted suicide twice. Its so sad and scary as a mother to watch your child being placed in an inpatient psych unit. Unfortunately her dad physically abused her and she hasnt been the same. Shes so talented and does great makeup looks. We go out and people comment on it all the time. I tell them she does it all on her own and they are amazed bc IT IS SOOO GOOD!!!! Please keep her in your prayers. Its been a tough road and I want her to get better and be happy again. Mental health is VERY IMPORTANT AND THERES NO AGE LIMIT.

No, she is spreading awareness. Instead of judging her, imagine what it would be like to go through what she is going through with her child. Be kind, be compassionate, we need to be there for each other and sometimes that just means listening without judgement.

You have no clue as a mother what ive been through and how bad it hurts to watch my daughter. She has to sleep with me bc she has horrible nightmares. She gets easily triggered and starts panicking. Your comment was tasteless. Im trying to get people understand you can be 10....20...30....70....80....and struggle with mental health issues and we need more resources. ESPECIALLY FOR KIDS.
Yesenia Patino i’m all for spreading awareness, i just don’t think strangers on the internet need the intimate details of my daughters abuse and mental health issues. you can advocate for mental health awareness without violating someone’s privacy. i went through what her daughter did also; abuse and ptsd. that doesn’t mean i want my mom airing out my personal details online for anyone to see. my privacy comes first-you can advocate for mental health without stating all of that. i understand it must be hard for her as a mother-but the focus should be on the daughter and how SHE feels.

I got tired of my blush rubbing off inside my mask and started making use of all my liquid lipsticks! They are all way too drying for my lips, but they make amazing budge proof blushes! If you have any kicking around, might be work a try! I've been enjoying my KVD and Maybelline liquid lipsticks as blushes, they blend out really well!
If you get some silky/satin masks, they don’t rub off your makeup!!!

The sponge being "soapy" seems like it could just be bubbles due to the material that the sponge is made of.

A lot of brush tip eyeliners have release mechanism that's spring loaded. Every time you put the cap on and take it off it releases some product into the tip. Try shaking it REALLY well and put the cap on and take it off a couple of times. Also, try drawing aggressively on a paper towel to help draw out more product.
