Something about the emotional, empathetic gravity of Charles Bradley makes this video the shortest and longest 6 minutes you've ever spent watching something. One of the simplest and most complex music videos I've seen. The texture of life isn't found in complex productions and expert marketing, it's found in sharing your humanity with another human.
From any distance, any time spent with Charles is always a gift.

    I'm going through changes

We shared the years, we shared each day
In love together, we found a way

    The prince of mf'n darkness.
I'm 30, I remember getting my guitar at 15 and playing nothing but sabbath, zeppelin & AC/DC. This was like stairway to me but it never got the same recognition and I feel like Charles Bradley's cover has finally done just that and also shows the connection all music has to the blues genre. Ozzy's vocals so crisp while Charles is raspy. Just so cool to hear the difference. Love both versions tremendously

I used to work at a diner/bar in my town. When I worked there I was surrounded by friends. We would all drink and have fun at the bar after the restaurant closed. The community was so great. I fell in love there, and fell out. I eventually left for a better opportunity. At the new job I was a manager for a luxury chauffeur company. I worked a lot. Whenever I would have time I would still stop in and enjoy the company of everyone. As time passed the whole staff had changed over. Person by person the same old environment changed. Every now and then when I’m around I’ll stop in and grab a drink. This song plays in the back of my head often times when I’m there. The same environment but a way different feeling. The reminder of a simple life that once was. It’s now a place for a younger generation to live and grow in, and I like watching them as they experience it. It’s almost like looking back, but from a strangers perspective. Life is a beautiful gift, even the times that don’t seem like it. Even the times when you want more. Enjoy it, appreciate it, every moment. You never know when you’ll be watching it unfold from a different perspective. Or even worse, you never know if it will completely disappear. God bless

    I feel unhappy
    I feel so sad
    I lost the best friend
    That I ever had
    She was my woman
    I loved her so
    But it's too late now
    I've let her go
    I'm going through changes
I'm going through Changes (in my life)
    We shared the years
    We shared each day
    In love together
    We found a way
    But soon the world
    Had its evil way
    My heart was blinded
    Love went astray
    I'm going through changes
I'm going through Changes (in my life)
    It took so long
    To realize
That I can still hear her
    Last goodbyes
    Now all my days
    Are filled with tears
    Wish I could go back
    And change these years
    I'm going through changes
    I'm going through changes,
In my life, in my life,
There gotta be a change in my life
This little changes, in my life

I lost my mom 2 months ago at the age of 19. The heaviest pain i've ever experienced. I'm still thinking of how i didnt come down to tell her goodbye when she was leaving to hospital, i feel so guilty, i couldnt even say i love you when she was still concious. It Hurts so bad. Now after her death, i just wish to have one more day to say her everything i should when I could.

When a man goes through changes, he does it alone, the only company we have is ourselves and our mind. Killing us from inside-out. Life sometimes have no sense, but you're not alone bro, u always have yourself. Send u a hug with love from Chile. Take care please, you're special. Left home at 12
because he was scared his mum would hurt him
    Homeless at 12
Battled with awful unemployment, quality of life, literacy and opportunity.
He learnt things, went to shows with his sister for James brown and found an admiration.
He battled through life for a long time, getting jobs wherever he could.
He reconnected with his estranged mother.
At the age of 60/61, Charles Nephew killed Charles's brother.
4-5 years later his mother's health decreased rapidly and she passed away, this MV is shot shortly after her passing.
1-2 years later, doctors discover a cancerous tumour in Charles, he had to cancel his tour, he battled, but eventually the cancer spread to his liver and he lost his battle to cancer.
R.I.P Charles, its a life story well worth looking into.
Like this so everybody can see what this man had to go through, he only started music in his late 50's/early 60's and still made it and became successful, there's no excuse if he can do it all of us can!

Live for those who are no longer here and cherish every moment you are breathing because live is to short to take for granted!! Do what your heart truly desires and follow your dreams!! Most comments have some Big Mouth reference, but I got here as a die hard Black Sabbath fan looking for some good covers and I must say, this rendition is magnificent.
    EDIT:
With time, I only grew to love this version more. I still love Black Sabbath, but Bradley's take is absolutely the more proper interpretation for me now.
