Austin City Limits Backstage Music Moments Presented by AXS - Khruangbin on Houston

When Khruangbin wrote their 2020 global sensation, Mordechai, bassist Laura Lee said they "wanted to make sure that [the album] sounded like home." While home might mean other places for the trio these days, their origin story is forever set in Houston, Texas, where they used to meet for burgers every Tuesday night long before transforming into the band we know and love today. About Austin City Limits
Austin City Limits (ACL) offers viewers unparalleled access to featured acts in an intimate setting that provides a platform for artists to deliver inspired, memorable, full-length performances. Now in its 49th Season, the program is taped live before a concert audience from The Moody Theater in downtown Austin. Austin City Limits is the longest-running music series in television history and remains the only TV series to ever be awarded the National Medal of Arts.
