@@DavidOCaoimhWakeboarder Most def! Btw, I can't find the link to the wake awards, any chance something went wrong? EDIT: did a bit of googlin' and found the site. Voted (you, board + boat). Have a great one
there is a LOT of history that you are missing here. guys that have been around the sport since its beginning could easily answer "where these names came from" questions. Like the Raley was named after Coach Chet Raley by Darin, the Pete Rose was named because Scott and Rich felt like when Scott came up short he looked like Pete Rose sliding into third base. the Crow was named becase of the body shape as you flipped, then the Elephant (a crow rewind 180) needed to be stomped "like and elephant." Whirly was named by Bill McAffery. (first one in competition was done by Parks and named the PB special) and so glad that didn't stick. the Bat wing was a Scott Harwood special, and back with directional boards things looked more bat-like. Fat and slim chances were switch and regular front flip 360s, my favorite name was the Hasselhoff. Thomas named this front flip to blind "because when you stomp this you pull the baywatch chicks like David Hasselhoff." I could go on.

Voted! We dare you take on the rail terminology!! Useful for our current crop of trainee drivers!
Hahahaahha challenge accepted! But be ready for mistakes 😂
@@DavidOCaoimhWakeboarder don’t worry we won’t be able to correct you anyway 😂
to this day I am afraid to just go to the kicker but do something like that? ... wow :O
Heelside Backside 540
Something with wakeboarding tricks and flying creatures (crows in particular): scarecrow, crowmobe, whirlybird, batwing. Guess it makes sense? lol
When our baby has a tantrum he does do basically the same movement you do in a tantrum. Head back. Arms out. I never put that together until now
Boat version... explaining f/s, b/s off toe / heal edges 🙏
Why 313 calls 313?
re why it's named tantrum. You'll find out when you have little kids lol
